Had a great experience with Mackenzie who helped out and luis who got my boat over to Cal Kona. Was less than most other places.
Service was professional and prompt. They have a dispatch system that sends you text message updates. The driver was friendly and I felt safe riding with him in the truck. I would use them again.

Called S&R towing around 9:15am today tire blew out. Asked for a tow they said no problem, they gathered some info and told me ETA was about 60mins give or take, I said perfect. They called back around 9:24 to confirm a few things w the truck being towed then said that they will text me w driver updates, got a text from them saying eta is 60 mins. Then they called me around 9:47am and asked me more questions pertaining to the vehicle being towed. Then gave me an eta of 60mins again. I call around 10:30am because I have not received a text from them since 9:24am I’m simply calling for eta update. Girl answers phone and she asks me what type of vehicle is being towed. I tell her, she keeps me on the phone for about a minute or so. back on the phone and proceeds to tell me that my ETA is now 60 to 90 minutes, I tell her that they told me that at 9:15 and 9:24 etc… stays quiet then says oh it’s because they give priority to law enforcement, which I understand and say to her that’s great but why haven’t I gotten an update maybe I could of called another company and she repeated well law enforcement gets priority. I tell her again yeah but an update w a text or call would of been great that way I could decide if I wanted to wait or look for someone else. I tell her to cancel the service and I called a smaller tow company. Oceanside tow picked me up within 35 mins of call. I do not recommend s&r just based on lack of clear communication and disregard for client .
Towed one of our highway tractor and trailer units from Escondido area to San Diego today, great overall professional and friendly service, pricing was very fair.

I had a positive experience with this towing company, they respond quick and provided the assistance I needed. My truck wheels were stolen ( all 4 ) and they let us borrow wheels to not damage the truck.
The service was great, the prices are the best in the area other places were charging 200+ just for 5 miles ridiculous. Leo was a true professional and quick and efficient. Highly recommend.

Had a flat tire, had no spare or couldn’t drive to a tire shop two mins away, because the tire was tore up and unsafe. The tow service took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive, and ended being charged $147 to be towed two blocks down to the tire shop, which is an unnecessary price to be charged for less an half a mile.

The rudest guy on the phone asked me if I spoke English when I requested for him to confirm a simple request of information. Absolutely horrible customer service. Do not hire these guys unless you want to be insulted!
Gonzalo was so great. Coordinated with him throughout the week scheduling a tow. Always responded, arrived exactly on time and was professional and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Said he would be there in an hour and rightfully did. Communicated with my dad and I that he would send photos and info as to where he would drop my car off at the dealership. About 45-1 hour I received photos as to where my car was parked. 10/10 recommend.

NK towing is excellent. They responded and had a truck to me within 20 minutes. Gordon Patterson was the technician who helped me and he was incredibly kind, helpful, and efficient. Truly a class act - he brought calmness and laughter to a stressful situation and made things easy! Can’t say enough good things!
Julio of NK Towing was so efficient, respectful, and quick to respond to my "locked out of car" situation on a very busy Sunset Market evening in downtown Oceanside. Riggo (spelling?) handled the tow pick up and drop off with expertise at the max! The dealership was so packed with cars he had an inch of space on either side. When AAA made the referral we received a call in one minute! And driver showed up in 20 minutes! A relief for a crazy long day. Thank you.
I had a bad experience with an NK driver today. The driver was blocking a one-way road while picking up a car. The first issue is that the car runs & drives. The people drove the car, turned it around, & drove up on the truck. There was room for the tow driver to pull to the side of the road, just another 50'-60' further up the road. If the car was able to drive, why not pull off there to load? Then, after loading the car, the driver remained in the road while talking to the customers, & tying down the car. After waiting for a little over 15 minutes, I got out of my car to ask the driver to move to the side to finish tying down. Before I got close enough to talk, he started yelling at me to get back in my car because I was just going to make him take longer. I asked in a respectful tone if there was any way he could move to the side of the road to finish. He responded that it was stupid for me to even get out of my car because he was going to finish, & then I would be the one blocking the road. I realized civil communication was not going to be possible, so I returned to my car, & called the tow company. They said they would call the driver, but he still spent another 5 minutes blocking the road while talking to the customers, before finally driving away slowly. Oddly enough, he did pull over to the side just a little further ahead. I'd love for this issue to have been avoided through consideration from the driver in the first place.

Guy was extremely rude over phone and sounded like I just woke him up when I called. Tried to find out where my car is and got hung up on after receiving mumbled garbage rather than actual service. Please avoid this business if you can.

I needed my business wheelchair bus from my company towed. They promised me they would come to my location on three occasions. They said they would be there in 45 minutes, the next time they said they would be there in 20 minutes. The next time they said they would be there in 10 minutes. All I got was absolute lies from this company. I would never use them. I don’t know why I called them after I saw that they only had a 3.0 rating. Steer clear because they will tell you a lie and have you waiting and never show up. Debra
I’ve had an amazing experience with them and they helped me get my car towed when I was in a reck. Customer service is the best I got greeted with kindness and gratitude during the whole process! I highly recommend them and I hope everyone has the same experience!
Unprofessional! Our driver never showed up. They kept accepting our order for a tow and then denying it so that no other company could pick it up. Very disappointed that AAA uses this company and would never recommend anyone using them unless you’re absolutely forced to. After reading other reviews, I’m not surprised that we also had a bad experience.
Angelo’s towing company does not care about its community or the rules of the road. exiting the freeway in a two lane right turn one of their trucks merged into my turning lane while both of us are attempting to make a right turn, nearly creating an accident. Upset at the driver I motion to him and honk showing him he’s made a mistake. Instead of gesturing he is sorry about his mistake he continues to mock me while we drive down the same road for about a mile or so. The people that Angelo’s towing company hire have no care for fellow drivers on the road.

Thieves /con artist/be careful do not let them tow your car. They will try to keep your vehicle. I Warned You!!
10/10 would get towed by them again
When 4 expired cars are sitting outside an apartment complex (one that doesn't allow off-street parking), these guys not only choose to steal the poorest looking car (so they have a higher likelihood of the owner not being able to pay it back - allowing them to legally keep the car), they also will strategically time the tow so that when they take it (on a Saturday morning) the owner isn't even able to get it back until Monday when the ticket office opens. This method takes up 2 of the 3 days the owner gets before another fine kicks in (in additon to the two nights and days of storage fees I'm sure they can't wait to charge me too). All that legal stealing strategy aside, when I called to ask about getting my important work stuff out of the car, they said they won't even let me have that! Even tho their website says it's my right to the stuff inside. These guy's are crooks.
They were fast and accurate on their estimate.
