My call was answered right away and the gentleman on the phone was very kind. There was a bit of a wait time so I left my vehicle to get out of the cold. The driver called me when he got the van loaded and he was also nice. I found the price to be fair and affordable. Overall very pleased with the service and would use them again.
Great guy. I went to pick up my vehicle today and decided to park out front in the parking area so my car could warm up. It got stuck and I asked for help, he didn’t even hesitate to help me. First experience here was great.
After I got my truck, aka pig stuck trying to catch my dog after she escaped from my wife they busted the humps to get it unstuck . I can't say enough about how great they are at very difficult vehicle recovery's and highly recommend! They go above and beyond to help there customers in bad situations. I have used a number of tow companies over the years through AAA and not one of them can hold a candle to the skill, professionalism Jim and Ron's has and can't say enough, THANK YOU GUYS VERY MUCH!!
i used them 5/2/23 to take my car from my garage to Airways Auto. i called them at 8am to schedule a time to pick up my vehicle since i would be home later. the driver arrived right at 3pm and was ready to leave with the car within just 10 minutes. he was quick and efficient and when i went to Airways to get a loaner car the guys said he did a great job dropping it off and heading out. thanks for the great service!

This company is a scam, plain and simple. Platinum Towing towed my car over a parking ticket while I was out of the country on my honeymoon, and they outright refused to release it to anyone but the registered owner — even though multiple other towing companies confirmed that a signed authorization and ID would’ve been perfectly acceptable. Platinum chose to make things as difficult as possible. When I had a different towing company call to try to retrieve the vehicle on my behalf, they threatened to increase the fees if one more person called them. That’s right — they literally said they’d jack up the price just because we were trying to find a way to comply with their ridiculous demands. It’s obvious they were exploiting the situation to make more money, knowing I was out of the country and desperate. Their customer service is aggressive, rude, and completely unethical. This company doesn’t just lack basic professionalism — they prey on people in vulnerable situations. If you can avoid them, do. They shouldn’t be in business.
After calling 3 other companies with an hour out time to get to my driver, these guys dropped everything and went to him! Towed our power unit in to repair and took our trailer on to our delivery! Awesome group of guys!!!

Not impressed with the guys attitude, I had questions on how to get my vehicle towed from a shop that didn't work on the issue to tires tires tires so they could repair it. He got very aggressive about not towing it from the lot and got very angry when I was questioning how to tow it then, if I had to move it from their lot. I finally just said I wasn't impressed and called lighting towing. That company was super helpful.
I had a dead battery. He came right out to jump it. I was so happy to have it running again. Thank you!
Great service all around. 10/10 would definitely use again and recommend to anyone that needs a great quality tow at a great price. I am not from the area and they were fast, friendly, reliable, knowledgeable people who saved me from missing a second flight at the airport. Good bunch of people, they came and pulled our camper and pick up out of the mud. These guys sure know the meaning of great customer service, I would definitely recommend Ace towing to anyone who needs help..thanks again for all your help.. next time I will stay out of my back yard
Broke down on the Interstate 20 miles north of Sioux Falls. Driver showed up quickly and went right to work. We had a larger truck and forklift trailer. Driver was very friendly, professional and knew what he was doing. Was very careful not to damage our equipment. Rates were reasonable and I would highly recommend this company.
Good people help me out with the truck and to get directions like there works five star.

Called guy he told me $375 per hour. I said ok. Some one showed up within 30 min and pulls me out in 5 min. Tells me my bill is $2000. I asked why his response was i charge $500 per hour 2 hour minimum and i brought a second tow truck with me. Then He said if you dont like it ill tow your truck to tow yard and can pay more. Pretty much they stole money from me and scammed me. Their prices were not reasonable. Rude und unproffeaional. It you want some one to steal you $2000 in 5 min call them. They are good at that.

Look, I get it — towing cars is how you make your money. That’s the business. People park where they shouldn’t, and you haul them off. Fine. No one likes it, but it’s your job, and I don’t fault you for doing it. What I do fault you for is being deceptive about what’s actually required to pick up a vehicle. When my car was towed from an apartment complex, we called to arrange pickup and were told we needed to bring proof of registration, proof of insurance, and a driver’s license. Sounds reasonable until you realize that’s not what South Dakota law requires — and it’s flat-out misleading. Under South Dakota Codified Law 32-30-18.1, the only legal requirement to release a vehicle is that the owner provides proof of ownership and identification and pays the towing and storage fees. That’s it. There is no state law requiring a person to show insurance to a private tow company, and registration papers are legally required to be kept in the car itself, which you’re holding behind a locked fence. Requiring documents that are inside the car before someone can retrieve the car is not only unreasonable — it’s absurd. Demanding proof of insurance is especially ridiculous. You are not the DMV or law enforcement. Insurance verification is the job of police officers and the state — not a private towing business. Trying to act like it’s a legal requirement to get the car back is dishonest and wastes people’s time. If you had simply said, “We need ID and something showing you’re the owner,” that would have been fine. Instead, you made it sound like we’d be turned away without insurance documents and a registration that you were literally keeping locked in the impound lot. So, yeah — three stars. Because I understand you’re running a business, and towing is how you earn your money. But don’t lie to people about what the law requires. Do your job, make your money, but don’t pretend you’re law enforcement while you do it.
Very prompt, professional, inside of tow truck was clean. New manager from Fargo was friendly and helpful.

A guy blew a tire in the middle of an 8 hour trip these guys were very nice to help him out letting him use their space to fix it and reavis the manager even helped out and lent some tools. Highly recommend

Got in a minor accident with my partner. All they had to do was tow us out of the highway median as our car had no damage. We were a 10 minute drive away from their shop. How much did they charge us? $400! Do everything in your power to stay away from these guys. These guys are predatory and charge as much as they think they can get away with for simple services. Disgusting to prey on vulnerable people, especially after an accident when you're all shaken up. Makes me sick.
Wonderful service. They answered the phone on the first ring, gave a fair quote and timing right over the phone. Showed up in the tow vehicle at the time they said and our technician was the most helpful and friendly. Most of all, he made sure we always felt safe! I would not hesitate and they will be my first call if I’m ever in need again. Thank you!
Terrible experience. After my car was towed, I tried to pick up my house keys that were left inside the vehicle by the officer who searched my car. The tow company refused to give me my own keys, even though I clearly explained the situation. I was left locked out of my own home for no good reason. Completely unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful toward a basic human need: access to your home. If you’re in a tough situation, don’t expect these people to help you—they don’t care. Would never recommend this company to anyone.
absolutely terrible. this towing company hasn’t been able to return my car from being towed after ungodly hours of the night. im making a complaint because i should be able to pick my car up whenever i want. on the website it says 24hrs open however when i made the attempt to pick up my vehicle they proceeded to tell me that they were closed until monday however there is still a $51 dollar holding fee for each day
Called around and this towing place was the quickest and the cheapest around. They came right away. The towing driver was a younger guy, don’t remember his name:( since it was in the beginning of August, 2017 but he was EXTREMELY nice and understanding! I highly recommend this towing company for all your towing and service needs!!!

This is my first time ever going off the road and being stuck in the snow and it was a rather traumatic experience. After spending 48 hours working with another company just to get a tow set up they cancelled on me. I started calling towing companies from A-Z just so I could get on a waiting list after we had been pummeled with 12+ inches and everyone was swamped. I came to the number for Eastgate and they were one of the few that had a real person answer and not a machine telling me everything was booked. Beth was so wonderful! I just asked if I could get a tow, when it might be, and if not if I could get on a waiting list. This was the first person who was not rude to me and gave me a time frame, plus put me on a list. I called that morning at 11:30 expecting a tow by the next day if I was lucky. Beth called back at 6 that evening and asked if I was ready to get my car. I was in shock to say the least. Since I needed to get a ride Beth told me she would let Francis know he could start while I made may way back to my car. When I got there he already had my car almost out, told me exactly how my car was going to feel due to the snow, and was overall just provided some positivity for the situation. The best part was the price I paid after was less than everyone else had quoted me by 50-100 dollars. I think it is safe to say they will be one of my first contacts if I need this service again. Five stars is not enough!
I was stalled on the interstate five miles from my hotel on a cross country trip out west. Tow services in the area was extremely busy—but Eastgate came through with flying colors. The dispatcher was calm and reassuring; Logan, our tech, was polite and incredibly helpful. It was a stressful situation and I was far from home, but felt as though this company cared. Highly recommend!

Just a Great bunch of people !! My son had a flat tire down town at 6 AM couldn’t get the tire off so we called them and Keith came in no time to fix it !! I have known Beth a Francis for a long time and I would recommend them to anyone who needs help!! They have a great company and are GREAT people!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is a rip. They didn't have the correct days/hours posted and yet they still had the nads to charge me for four entire days during a holiday and weekend. They expected me to call them and ask them if they were open while they were obviously closed according to their posted hours. These guys definitely know how to run a good business.
Good service. Friendly guys who came to help me late night in cold weather. My airlines were ripped because of some peace of cloth stuck on drive shaft. They worked hard on it to get it moved. Was charged reasonably. First experience was good one with them. Thank you:)
While I did not receive any services from this company, I am very proud to leave a positive review about one of their employees: Casey. I flew from Kentucky to Sioux Falls, to make a trip to Rapid City to see my best friend (of 15 years), and after the rental car company at the airport did not work out, I was stranded in an unfamiliar city, at 1 am. Not much money to me, no idea where to go, and no way to get there. Once I started walking to try and find the hotel, Casey was kind enough to offer to take me to one, and had such a kind and positive attitude for my situation that it made me feel less hopeless, and really gave me the strength to keep going. He was very understanding in that I would be weary of accepting a ride from a stranger and his passenger (female), and used the very short trip to tell me some of his personal information, and make the trip less scary. They called and found me a cheap motel, and even gave me their contact information so I could reach out again if I needed them the following day so u wouldn’t be stranded. This company should be very proud to have an employee this dedicated to his community, and humanity and this man better be making some GOOD money, so give him a fat ol raise!!!!!!! Thank you Casey, and God bless you and your family.
This is the most Unprofessional place I every dealt with besides of hanging up on me several times ..Besides they say 24 hrs they are open.they hung up. Me and wouldn't let me get my car out so they could charge me more money for the weekend...They must be desperate for money to try to ripp people off ..I will make sure to tell everyone I know and media how horrible of a business this is. ...They prey on people who are financially hurting to there own advantage...

I strongly suggest using someone else for towing. They'll give a specific date and a rough time on when your vehicle will be delivered and then they won't show up! They're not professional, they don't have the method to their madness down and they'll leave you taking the day off work waiting for a vehicle that doesn't show up! I literally had to use my GMC vehicle tracking app to locate my vehicle! And then they claim it will be delivered sometime today! Like seriously?! Give me a specific time so I can be home to sign for my vehicle! Not a guess on "oh it might be delivered this morning, or maybe this afternoon"! I'm so very disgusted and furious with this company! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE PEOPLE!
Lighting towing towe truck drivers are thieves! They towed my car after UT had been totaled a d when I went to get my stuff out of it they had stolen several things out of it. I would NEVER refurw them to anyone! When we called to complain the receptionist just laughed at us.
I don’t think this business cares about others except money. Last time my truck broke down on the road in the middle of the night. I’ve never been experience with tow truck before. My house was closer and I thought it’s a good idea to bring my truck over to my house, but it’s not. They charged me 129 bucks to get it over there. It seems that they’re trying to take advantage of me because they think I’m clueless. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone to this business. They don’t care about our problems and help, they only focus on money and trying take an advantage on others.
Great service and a fair price. Operator was profissional and took every precaution not to damage my classic car.Would highly recommend them if you ever need a tow.
