The tow driver and owner of the company was very polite and knew his job well! He was able to tow me from downtown Honolulu to Kapolei. I very much appreciated since every other tow company I called wasn't able to service me at my time of need. The truck Hawaii Towing uses has a flat bed in the back, which helped me feel more calm knowing how secure my car was during the towing. The best part about the experience is that Hawaii Towing is friendly and will give periodic messages to keep their customers updated on how far they are from their destination. 10/10 would call every time I or one of my friends need a tow!
Besides it being the quickiest towing service I've ever received, George was so very courteous, friendly and professional! I had left messages for other towing services, and no one ever called me back, whereas Hawaii Towing answered when I called. George was also able to send me a receipt immediately so that I could submit it to my insurance company for reimbursement. I highly recommend Hawaii Towing!
Beyond impressed with their service! Needed another towing company as the first one we were trying to go with, didn’t show up on the scheduled time and we needed to go to an appt ASAP if not we would lose our spot. Luckily, Hawaii Towing Company was the first search and was nearby to our location! Called them and they answered right away and was told they would show up within 30 mins. George showed up ASAP, hooked the car up and we even got to our appt on time! (Thankfully no traffic too). Made everything sweet and simple! So very thankful for their fast and great service! George at Hawaii Towing Company was the only bright spot in a bad day gone worse. My power steering went out and left my truck crippled in Walmart parking lot. I called numerous tow companies that either didn’t pickup, voicemails were full, didn’t have any trucks, didn’t have a flat bed truck, and even got scammed by another. George was referred by another tow company and he immediately answered the phone, was pleasant to talk to, and showed up within 15 minutes of my call (which was 2 hours into my whole debacle). George was a gentlemen upon arrival and by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a tow truck driver.

Our delivery van got stuck at a stop light, would not go into gear. Called CJ's and I was towed in less than 20 mins. Driver asked what was wrong and I explained it and he said, oh, I can fix it for you, just get a part over here at the auto parts store. On the road again in 15 mins!! Over and above service! Excellent service. Only thing I had was Apple Pay and he let me use it even though had never tried before. Delivered the car to the shop I needed and then send the photos as prooof of delivery and even the person he gave the keys too.
Great experience overall! Tho, the driver, got on site to pick up my car early and had it back to my house in no time (all during Oahu rush hour too!). Fastest and most efficient tow service I've ever had in any state and at a humble price. Tho also knows the process necessary to get on to military installations which saved a ton of time not having to walk him through it. Tho is extremely friendly, genuine, knowledgeable, and honest, and is pleasant to speak with! Will definitely use Freedom Tow in the future. I recommend anyone who needs a tow to this company!

My headlight went out while driving at night by the airport, so I called AAA who connected me to O'Sung Towing. Matt came and instead of towing my car (which would have cost $$$) he was super cool, assessed the issue, and ended up fixing my headlight for me. Really exceeded all expectations and did a great job helping me out when I was having a rough night! Thank you Matt!

Probably the best towing service I've ever had. I was notified on very short notice that I needed to move my project truck out of street parking in 2 hours or less by construction workers. I called Lopez Towing, and realizing the urgency of the situation, Mike was luckily able to assist within 30 minutes and quoted a very fair price. Overall, great customer service, great professionalism, and great pricing. I will be recommending and utilizing Lopez Towing in the future.

Tonight, I needed an emergency tow from town to Wahiawa. I have used Justin in the past and figured id give him a call to ask if he was available. Even though I was 20 miles away from him at 7PM. He said he could tow me! He got there promptly. The car was in a bit of a weird spot. But he got it out no problem. He very carefully loaded my car onto his truck. When we got to my house, he was able to drop it right into my stall. The price was very reasonable considering how far he had to drive and the time of night. Will use his services in the future for sure!

My Jeep broke down and needed to be shipped to the mainland the next day. The owner was available on such short notice. He towed my vehicle from Mililani to the shipping company’s warehouse in town. Truck wouldn't start or jump at Sand Island. Was getting the runaround from my roadside service, so called Jason, who came right out. Corroded negative terminal, bolt broke, but he cleaned it and had another. Fired right up. You need a start or tow, call Jason! 🤙🏽

Thank you Empire Towing for turning a very stressful situation into a blessing. Our Camry broke down and we were stuck on the side of the road and afraid for our safety. We reached out to Empire Towing to request their assistance with a tow. Their dispatcher was very organized, their driver very courteous and professional, and took good care of our vehicle. After personally being purposely run off the road by a big pink tow truck in the past and witnessing other tow companies pick up vehicles and tow them away without even strapping them down, I was very impressed with the top notch professionalism Empire Towing operated with. From arriving within the estimated time frame, to taking pictures before/after the tow of our vehicle to document pre-existing damages, to the true aloha everyone at the company I dealt with treated me with. Sincere appreciation and job well done. Nice to have a tow company in Hawaii that is focused on helping people, doing things by the book, and truly cares about the customer. Mahalo
Needed a tow. Called and they were at my house within a hour. Loaded my car in a tight spot very easily without having to use wood planks or any assistance.
First off a huge shout out to Nathan Unfortunately I’ve needed to call upon services too many times in the last several months. Without fail they are always much quicker and overall provide exemplary service Nathan has assisted my children and I on 2 occasions so far and likely I’ll see his calm presence show up again to save the day. I was in the moving for over 30 yrs and we would say we can get anyone a class A to drive cross country but many our cowboys with zero customer service skills. It’s difficult to find the whole package and when you’re sending out drivers to people already in a stressful situation (moving , broken down etc) it makes all the difference who you dispatch out. Empire keep doing what you’re doing and find more Nathan’s to send out. Especially when this world gets nastier by the minute to have someone like Nathan that is so good at immediately putting you at ease and goes above and beyond and so humble. Don’t usually write reviews for towing company’s however could not keep this to myself. Hands down if you are in need of service and have the option to choose Empire no doubt you’ll be in great hands.
Our dog locked us out of the car tonight at Mcdonalds and we were very upset (for the dogs). James was wonderful, he got here in about 25 minutes and got our window open in about 2 minutes so that we were able to unlock the car. He was very nice and prompt.

We contacted this company after our car needed to be towed post a car accident. We needed to get rid of the car in 2 days because construction on our street would start soon. All of our communications via text with Darin were replied to promptly. "No parking" signs said we needed to have the car moved by 8am. Darin was so accommodating when we told him our situation, that he changed our original time for pick up from 8am to 730am. That relieved stress from the time crunch. On top of all that I couldn't get off from work so I had to meet him on my lunch break. Darin was there at 730 on the dot! He has a bodybuilder build which may seem intimidating, but he was a genuinely nice guy. Very charismatic and friendly. I cant express my gratitude for the grief he saved me from simply by running a good business. The price to take the car was very affordable. I would recommend this company to anyone. The other company (VIP Towing) had me on hold for 30mins and then told me that they couldn't come until late in the day and couldn't even give me a set time just a "we'll be there between 12-5pm. So I’ve been a member of AAA for five years and today they really dropped the ball. To the point that I think I will cancel with them. I made a request, had confirmation with a 25 min eta that came and went - two hours later I call in to be told I have to wait until 5 PM which is almost 4 hours after my initial request for roadside assistance. Did a search, APM Towing shows up, Made a quick call and within 20 minutes I have someone helping me. Professional, easy to pay options. And they finished my service in the time I spent writing this review THANK YOU!

I got a flat tire on the highway, and Waipahu Towing & Roadside Assistance came to my rescue. The technician was efficient, changed the tire fast, and made sure everything was in order.
Waited for over an hour. No show. Called office, lady said she'll call the driver. She'd called back and told me to call another tow truck company. The driver said his truck's forklift is broken. Big Mahalo to A's Towing LLC. DBA Oahu Towing Company. Anthony, the owner was super awesome, very professional and A+ service. Would recommend this towing company.

BEWARE. My mother called this tow company at 9 pm, they came in regular car andi tried to jump car, then sent my mother walking to get gas 2x which was not the problem. They charged her $100 and said they would send tow truck. Truck came at 12:45 am and wanted to charge $400 to tow from Honolulu to a Kailua repair shop. She opted to tow it under a half mile home which cost her $200. Today she called a different company that only charged $135 for trying to jump it and tow to Kailua. She asked how much she would of paid under a half a mile and it was $75. Big difference. If she went with this company it would of cost $500 for jump and tow to Kailua. SCAMMERS. Next stop yelp. I am writing this under her email so they know who it is. I just wish I was with her to stop them from taking advantage. The person that wrote the good review works for them. I will post the company she called today when I find out. They were fast kind and honest and for that they got a big tip.
I tried to park my car on a curve side and fell in a ditch off the paved street. It was really a bad situation that I had to finally call a tow truck to pull the car out of the place, at late night. I was lucky that Isaac was in the neighborhood, came in 10 min. to rescue my car. He was very helpful and professional. Exactly knew how to resolve the situation without using his towing equipment. He not only got my car out of the position but also saved my car without a scratch. I am very thankful to him.

Isaac is the man! Very friendly guy who helped me tons. He arrived within 30 minutes of me calling their office and had my car at Firestone within an hour before they closed. To top it off I had lost my phone while signing the paperwork and he found it! Would definitely recommend this company if you need quick reliable towing. All towing is expensive, their pricing was what I expected..nothing outrageous.

I called about 10 different tow companies to get a quote to haul my broken down Ford E450 dump truck from Kapolei to Kailua... Dugonz was the best price I found, and he stuck to the quote without adding extra taxes or fees on after the job was done like some places do. He was on time, got the truck loaded quickly, drop off was also quick and simple. Great service overall, would definitely recommend.
Robert is awesome! Dugonz Towing has been around for a while and he has done my difficult tows for a reasonable price. He has a bunch of different sized trucks from small to large and can usually schedule your tow quickly. I also own a towing company but on occasion Robert can tow it when I cannot, I recommend him, as a person that knows towing and people...Aloha Robert!

Waited about 30 minutes, no call. Called them back and told them I hadn't been called. Was told that the driver called me and said tha t I refused to meet them at the gate. I told them I didnt receive a phone call, they put me on hold for 5 minutes and told me that they weren't going to complete my request. Sounds like they couldn't be bothered with my business. Very unprofessional overall. Called a competitor and had a driver on the way within 5 minutes.

Was able to get personal vehicle working again...and possibly shorted out my electronics because my driver side window is working again (been non-functional for 3 months) which a wonderful thing.
Fast service and very polite driver, but poor communication. I asked for an estimate over the phone and gave them the mileage which was higher than the actual distance. They estimated $200.00 Then, when they dropped my vehicle off they wanted $450.00. The average tow cost for 7 miles is less then $200.00. I got the owner on the phone and spent 10 min arguing my point. They did conceed and I paid $250.00. Get your cost upfront on the phone all companies know what the cost will be. Atleast know the rates before they dispatch. I won't use them again.

Excellent Service and Fast Response! I needed fuel delivery in the middle of nowhere, and this towing assistance company came through like a lifesaver! Very good and friendly service. Quick, polite and an overall very good experience. However, the cost. 4.8 mile tow (anything above 5 costs more per mile) and it was 400$. I was not aware of the cost until the driver was on scene and being in a hurry I didn’t have much other option. Other than the cost, it was a very good and professional service.

Got locked out of my car by my dog after I finished work at 3am. Car was on I was having a smoke with my wife. Then my dogs big head hit the all lock button on the passenger side. I called everywhere and they wanted payment up front seemed sketchy. These guys was fast dependable and super solid. Took my guy about 15 mins to get to me on the Ala wai took him about 20 mins to unlock my car all that done in under an hour at 3 in the damn morning. My guy is a professional. This company is straight garbage. I wouldn’t even give them a star but I have to in ordered to give a rating. Customer service or operator very rude and hung up on us multiple times. They were hired by my insurance company but never will use them again. They called me and claimed they never called me. You would think they would want the busy. Personally I think they are just lazy, rude, and worthless. Get out of the business if you don’t want to work. They need to work on their customer service. Then they made some excuse that they did not have one available until the night shift. Funny thing is their sight says 24hours. In my opinion I would not waste my time find another company. Osung towing was used and were very courteous and professional. .
Willie is incredible...my car was in a 6'6 clearance garage almost right up against a column with the row ending in a dead end and he skillfully attached the hauling system, picked up the Subaru, and maneuvered it out of the garage like it was nothing. He was quick, efficient, and has a good sense of humor making a stressful situation for me much lighter. He also arrived over an hour ahead of schedule...that's phenomenal service. The intake staff I spoke with were polite and professional, as well. I would recommend Honolulu Towing Inc. 100 percent and Willie 1000 percent.
Long but necessary post!!!! I don't even want to give 1 star, that's how unprofessional the employees were. My registration and insurance is legit but safety check is expired. I've already been to a few places to fix the problem but the price is ridiculous. I recently moved and have been financially in a rut trying to come up with the extra money to fix it. Anyway, my car ends up getting towed for the safety check. So it took me two days to take out loans and when I got to the front window a girl asked me where my car was towed from. I literally just moved and still need to remember the address so I said, "Kapolei, my cars right there, I don't know the address but it's that car". They could see the car from their window but was focused more on the address. Another employee, a guy probably in his mid 20's starts asking for the address as if I didn't understand the first person who asked. I told him the same thing that, I just moved and don't know it by heart but he insisted that they needed it. They didn't ask for my ID or want it and started getting loud about the address. It was frustrating!!!! The street name ended up coming to me and we started to move the process forward. After that, he then started to scold me about not having a safety check and that it's illegal. He asked questions about why the safety was expired, so I went on to tell him about my situation. It didn't feel right explaining to him because it didn't matter but I was ready to pay and he appeared to make small talk! I ended up feeling like I was defending myself and we completely started arguing about the safety check like it was such a big problem. I finally told him to stop and hurry up so I can get my car and leave. He goes "so are you going to pay or not" and then he had the nerve to belittle my situation and mock my circumstance by saying, "well it's just a horn, it cost more to pay for towing, I don't see why you couldn't take care of that". On top of all that, my car was barely there for 48 hours and they charged me for 3 days. I didn't agree and he treated me like I was illiterate and counted hours back to me smh. I counted out the cash and as I hand him the money he snatches it out of my hand! I was absolutely livid at this point and corrected his behavior. This guy was rude, disrespectful, judgmental and unprofessional. He had the audacity to gather my personal information and then use it against me to make my situation feel even more worse. Not only that, but after my payment was made, I had to wait for another person to come before I could get my car. Another woman came out to help because at that point I was complaining, she denied giving me his name and hers as well. She literally justified why it was okay for her employee to invoke frustration on me the way he did. She then appeared to threaten me to fix my safety check or they will come back and take it again. Talk about PTSD!!! This company appears to thrive on belittling people, especially if you're already down. I felt horrible leaving and even more horrible about how upset the employee was able to get me. This company is not accredited by the BBB and by the reading of other comments, it's apparent that being rude is a guarantee for this place. I feel sorry for their next victims and I hope they take all these bad reviews and make the proper changes. I personally wouldn't use them and I've already made a complaint to my tenants about the terrible customer service!

People I dealt with were friendly and gave good service. Seems others may not have but my experience was a relief.
The worst customer service. Impounded my car and went to retrieve it, they made excuses, then make me pay additional refused to help me and just held the car with close to zero information. They are crooks and very bad service. The girl behind the counter had a nasty attitude and the manager was even worse.
Terrible company. Will not pick up the phone and will not take a message. We were in serious accident yesterday they took the car and we have no idea where it is. This is no way to run a business. The city should terminate their contract ASAP. I don't have enough bad things to say
Bring cash with you!!! The only complaint I have is that their credit card terminal is “out of order” read: it is never working. I was forced to be towed because my car stalled on the freeway & HPD forced me to have it towed due to safety risk. We were there last night & AAA wasn’t available for a few hours so we decided to wait until morning. I wasn’t told that I couldn’t use my card. They have an ATM that charges $4.95 & I’m pretty sure that the yard gets a kickback. I had more than enough cash at home. When the clerk said “The credit card terminal is out of order” without immediately saying that there was an ATM directly behind me. I got irate thinking I’d have to go get cash & return. The tense interaction could’ve been avoided by just telling me about the ATM. I’m sure they deal with a lot of irate people & the clerk could’ve avoided my irate response by simply saying so. I’d recommend calling to ask how much it’ll be & get cash at your own bank’s ATM to avoid the extra fee. Edit to add: everything else was OK.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. My car got towed on Saturday and they wouldn’t allow me to pick up my car that day or next (Sunday) because the lot is “closed” on the weekends and yet they are STILL charging $25 per day that its there. Thats an extra $50 charge for days their lot isn’t even opened to get my car back. This is absolutely unethical and seems illegal. This business needs to review and change their policies and operations. I might have to report them to the DCCA/Office of Consumer Protection.

This towing company towed my car from a city and county road. Which they have no jurisdiction to enforce and tow from. They stated it was someone’s property and there’s signs stating they can tow but in the pictures I have I don’t see any but police and city officials said no that’s city roads. The building next door has tow signs but I wasn’t on their property I can prove it too I also have a video of the area where my car was parked and the building next door . In all you should not have touched my car let alone tow it. I had to pay you $250 to park on city roads with no tow away zone signs as well parking meters. I want my money back and you review your authority on towing before you touch another vehicle.

I never in my life would I have thought that I would give a towing company 5 stars but Ryan from Finest Towing saved me today with his flatbed and gentle island demeanor. I had a rough day after receiving bad medical news, on the way home from the food bank and car broke down. The first time estimate from AAA for another company was 1-2 hours and then Ryan swooped in within 30 mins. He was so nice on the phone and so calm and cool helping with the tow. I just had fraud on my bank too so I wasn't in a position to tip him but put together some sweet potatoes and fruit as a gesture. Some roadside assistance people will ask for tips, so I was also prepared for that... He didn't ask or even hint at it, but I told him we didn't have cash to share today but offered him the bag of produce. He was so humble and thanked us but turned it down very politely. Then he said "Its my job! My job is to take care of you guys". Such a sweet guy when you expect people with his job would be very mean and difficult after all they deal with. Mahalo nui loa to Ryan, Finest Towing and AAA for making a horrible day better!
Honestly this is the worst tow company on the island. The reps are rude and they’re away an excuse on why the can’t tow. My insurance company keeps forcing this company on me!! It’s extremely frustrating! If you have any other towing option take it!!

I will have them a 0 start. These people are thefts. The only bad experience of our vacation in Honolulu was courtesy of these businesses. They said that the 7 11 hired them, but is not true they are sitting in the parking lot waiting for tourists. The sign says parking for costumers only, it did not specified 711 only so we went to a food truck. Not even 20 minutes pass and the car was gone. We took a Uber to the horrible location and at the moment that we got there we were treated with so much disrespect that we have to call the local police because we start feeling so unsafe in their location. The lady doing the paper work is so unprofessional and everyone surrounding her. If you get you car tow by this company and if they are on the wrong please call the local Police to file a report. The place is about to be shut down.
A tenant in my building had my car tow. Tenants I'm not supposed to be able to have cars towed from the property. Only security and management are authorized to have cars towed. That is what it is so I head off to pick up my car from the towing yard with the manager for my building who's going to pay for the tow. We get to the tow yard in my car is sandwiched between a dozen other cars there is no way that you could have driven the car there it had to be put there by a forklift. And sure enough 2 minutes later here comes the forklift the only way to get my car out of a lot. They get it out I get in it start the car in the engine is revving like crazy and all kinds of warning lights are going off. My car has no power steering the brakes are locked and the check engine light is on. I drive the car for about a block in the power steering comes back and all the lights go off except for the check engine light what stayed on all the way home. The employees at the tow yard could care less when I told them of the problems I was having and told me to just drive the car and things would fix themselves. No one was willing to take a report on an also no one could tell me any recourse to the problems I was having no policy and procedures for this type of problem you're on your own. If I hadn't lived in Hawaii for over 45 years and and developed the ability to speak pidgin in multiple languages I don't think I would have been able to communicate effectively with anyone that was working there. Now I understand that all tow yards are probably the worst place in the world and I have been to a few, but this one is definitely the worst I've ever been to. We need some type of regulations police businesses. Oh and I almost forgot I had almost half a tank of gas when I get out of the car today and when I picked it up I had a 10th of a tank. I'm guessing they don't pay much of the tow yard so they need to supplement their income. Just one of those days trying not to go postal.
BEWARE - Predatory Towing! Of course, if you’re reading this, it may be too late for you (as it was for me). If you do get towed, please make a complaint (DCCA Hawaii, RICO division)so we can protect our fellow humans!
I was charged $412.00 for a tow that did not happen. I called for a tow and after some back and forth with dispatch, decided not to use their services. I was quoted $300, and initially handed over my cc information. But when I was asked to verify via a text, I chose not to proceed and said to disregard the entire thing. The dispatch said I had already been charged, to which my response was I did not authorize that. They said then I would have to pay a $49 cancellation fee, to which I said I did not authorize that either. The dispatch said, "OK" which I took to mean that I would not be charged. That is why I was very surprised to see a charge for $412 (what happened to $300?!). I will revise or remove this review upon their response.
Not good service. Unsafe location, workers don't even try to care for your car. My car was parked in handy cap, with the placard up and visible. There was no sign where I parked stating "private parking only" Come back, my car is towed by whom 🤷♀️ the nice USPS worker said VIP and gave me the number to call. Mind you I missed a call from my friend that's works at the Vape shop I parked by, she tried calling me at 11:26 a.m. I arrived at VIP 1006 Mikole Street at 1:51 p.m. Tina the VIP office worker was very rude and very short tempered. Hours later I can finally look at my VIP bill. 1. Charged $25.00 1 day (a day is 24 hours) 2. OVERTIME charge: $15.00, really VIP OT hours on bill says M-Th 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Fri: 6 p.m. - Mon 6 a.m.
