I use PROGRESSIVE insurance and today my vehicle shut off while driving causing me to use my roadside assistance. Progressive reached out to DIAMOND TOWING. Brian was the employee that showed up. These guys are awesome! Two times in the last 5 years I had a vehicle of mine break down outside of town. My first one was my Blazer about 4 hours away from anywhere and today my f-150 45 minutes away from anywhere up in the foot hills and these guys were quick to respond and also had great conversations each time with each of their drivers on the drive back. Which made a not so great of a day not as horrible as it could have been. They keep their trucks nice and clean and also pay attention while they drive. Thanks again guys! Stay safe out there I know how dangerous it can be to do what you guys do. Your definitely under looked and under credited public service emergency responders.
I was charged almost 600 dollars to get a tow from about 22 miles from Boise. In between here and mt home. The guy was good enough but drove an extra 30 miles to get us which in my opinion was just gouging the price up. I will never use them again.
Tremendous service! I could not have had a better experience. They were FAST, responsive, and friendly with my towing experience. Paid contactless on the spot with a card. It was a huge relief to go from calling on the side of the road to problem solved in minutes. They should write a book!

Great service and friendly driver. Helped me out a lot. I will say the estimates I kept being given both by my insurance and when I called directly were all off by quite a bit until about 30 minutes prior to pickup. I don’t think this is a problem with the drivers at all. When I called for time estimates they were always friendly though.

Doesn't matter if it's big or small they put in the up most professional effort and would absolutely recommend them to anyone and I have already. I manage a small local company and always love working with other small local companies. That being said, when running 16 work trucks you're bound to have a vehicle issue or five. I have exclusively used Silverback towing the last 3-4 times I have had to tow a truck to our mechanic. Silverback always answers the phone when I call and very responsive. Communication is top notch. I will continue to exclusively use Silverback towing.
My mom just got out of the hospital and was driving to the DMV to register her new car. The car started smoking and she had to get it towed back to the dealership. James offered to give her a ride and she couldn't step up into his vehicle. He called his manager Ryan who brought their truck to get her into. I was on a work call and finally connected with her to pick her up. Ryan was very sweet and waited until I got there with my mom in the truck with the AC going. So grateful for both Ryan and James!

Eric at AOR Towing deserves 10 stars! We recently needed a tow where our Roadside Assistance company handled everything. The whole incident was from noon to 10 PM!! There were 5 towing companies called, of which AOR was the last around 8 PM. We finally connected with Eric, who was great to talk to, confident that he could handle our situation, and quick to respond and deliver! Throughout our ordeal, Eric took pictures of the pickup and delivery of our vehicle and sent them to us. He also unloaded the vehicle exactly where the mechanic requested. Honestly, he made everything look SO easy! Each of the other 4 towing companies either showed up with the wrong equipment for the job or flat-out refused to do the job. Those companies were Diamond S Towing (showed up with wrong equipment and never returned), Canyon County Towing (showed up, took one look at the car and left us), Code Red (never showed up after a phone conversation of us telling him what the issue was), and a fourth that was never identified, just backed out. Please do not use these companies if you have a choice!! We will only use AOR in the future. Thank you Eric!!!

I was driving to work and it was very slippery on the road, and so while I was driving my car spun out and I flew into a ditch. Therefore I just moved recently in town and didn’t know what towing company to call. So I call one of my family members that live here and asked them what’s a good, affordable, and fast towing company, and so he said “quick tow is everything you need” and so I called them, they came in under 15 minutes loaded up my car and towed it to the nearest shop. Was done very professionally the driver and the dispatcher was nice to me.
Helped me in a bind. Quick response, flexible, great price, good service, highly recommend.

I was recommended Rocky Mountain Towing by the staff at Big O Tires. It was an expedient towing process, first with the dispatcher over the phone and then when Alex showed up to tow my car. We made friendly conversation in the cab and the billing was both fair and efficient. I would recommend them to anybody needing a tow in the Treasure Valley!

Driving on 84 this maniac of a driver tries to run me off the road. I'm merging in a merge lane, you know, like you're supposed to, and he does everything in his power to not let me in. I end up getting in well past the merge lane, so unsafe. He then proceedes to high beam me, pull to the left, honk at me, and blows past me in a fit of rage. The funny thing is that he was going nowhere fast since we passed him in traffic not 45 seconds later. What a clown. Best to drive safely and let people in merge lanes just merge. You should expect more of your drivers. If it helps you identify the driver he was towing a USPS truck.

Ran out of gas on a long distance. The dispatcher estimated 20 to 30 minutes, and they showed up with a can in 25 minutes. There was no pressure to tow; it just helped me keep going. Effective, reliable, and not too expensive.
The engine got too hot amid a traffic jam. They handled the really hard pickup spot like champs. Great driving and being patient.
They were fast and super helpful. They parked the car exactly where I asked even HBO I wasn't home at the time. I would use them again in the future.
This company is quite clear about their prices, which I like. There are no hidden costs or surprises; simply clear service and a quick response. That was just what I needed at a tough spot.

After not being able to get a hold of anyone elsewhere (minus one shop that was absolutely rude) I spoke with Rick and he was polite and helpful, he was upfront the cost and about how far out he was. I didn’t end up needing his services but I called him back to let him know and he was once again polite and professional. I didn’t use them, but based off of Rick—I recommend them.

I was out of town for an event and my friend's car broke down late at night. She was already frantic about other stuff so I googled a tow company for her. I saw that Naylor had 24 hour towing service so I called them first and since they accepted her insurance-- done deal. I would recommend Naylor to anyone. They were fast and efficient. Jason even gave me some coffee while I waited in the tow truck.
Naylor Towing came to my location in Garden Valley to relocate two CONEX shipping containers within the area, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Driver Don Rowling was extremely professional, he made a somewhat stressful process (for me) a breeze. If you need towing services (and especially moving shipping containers) Naylor is the way to go. And their prices are by far the most reasonable that I found.

I called this towing company twice: once to have my car started and once to have it towed. They were on time, professional, and charged a fair fee both times. You can trust that this service will work.
The tow truck came faster than I imagined it would when my tire blew out on the highway. The driver was calm and professional, and they took me and my car to safety right soon. Excellent service.

B&W saved our tails today. We had a large shipment show up early and were not prepared to receive it. They responded as soon as they could and helped offload our new screen print press. I would highly recommend them. Matt’s customer service was second to none. Will be using them again to move our shop around in a few weeks. Great people, great service, great company!

They helped us transport a recently purchased brick oven for a future (shout out: Anzalone Pizza) location. There were three workers, all of them very attentive to the job they were doing, which I appreciated very much. They were fast, efficient, and focused. Item pickup took an hour longer than anticipated but this wasn't a huge deal and we will certainly be using them for any future equipment transportation. Thanks a ton to the team!

So my son and I got into an accident we were immobile the car was undrivable we called a few other tow truck companies got not real good responses from either tow truck company one was a little more expensive the other one was very unprofessional so we went ahead with Rocky Mountain Towing they said quote about 45 minutes at first it ended up being not even 15 minutes before they got to us John the driver was absolutely amazing and totally careful with the car and Randy was absolutely awesome as well very communicative very quick efficient and very friendly highly recommend this towing company. Excuse any errors this was all talk to text..

My best friend is in town from the UK for a funeral, she accidently locked her keys in her car after our visit. Longhorn Towing was professional, polite and respectful of me and my property. My car would not start and they first tried to jump it and then needed to tow it to my mechanic. They worked quickly and carefully while loading the car. I appreciate that they came quickly and offered as much help as they could. I would definitely use them again.
They charged my 85 year old mother $488 to tow and store her vehicle in their dirt lot for 1 night. If you agree with taking advantage of the elderly then this company is for you.
Used roadside assistance through my insurance and they went through this company. Original quoted time was 65-95 minutes. When 2 hours had passed I tried to call the company to get an updated eta and no response. One of my family members then called a bit later and they said about thirty more minutes. So after waiting the original 2.5 hours we were still wondering what was happening with no other communication. At 3 hours and 45 minutes of waiting we receive notice that they’ve cancelled the tow. Do not recommend booking through this company.
DONT USE THIS COMPANY MIKE NEVER SHOULD'VE TOUCHED MY CAR. Mike apparently didn't want to smile for the camera!!! I was trying to move my car when he came flying back to tow the car next to me and for some reason decided it would be appropriate to aggressively wrap on my window. I startled rolled down my window as he started yelling at me. I said excuse me what? He then went on to yell at me if he had to talk to me about moving my car it would cost me $400 but he didn't have to I was already moving my car before he'd even backed the flat bed up. It's bad enough that there is no place to park in Eagle but the fact that business are towing people after hours is terribly crappy!!! I'm very disappointed that the comments from the business excused the tow truck drivers bad behavior. I was no longer in the parking space when he aggressively wrapped on my window and was yelling at me. I was in the alley and shifting into 1st gear.

These boys did a fantastic job. My car wouldn’t start in my parking garage. They were actively repoing a car and Those customers were so mean to them... I kindly waited and asked them if they could tow to the mechanic shop and they hooked me up right there!
MONEY GRAB…. I Was picking up my gal… 15 min parking spot at her apartment complex… they towed my car… when I called asked for Cash only… was picking her up for a safe spot and no DUI status!! Guy said $430- CASH… now banks and weekends closed more money for Monday and will release it!! NICE JOB DUDE!! Will spred the word!
Very bad experience. I run a company that works with Towing companies often and I have never seen a company run their business this way. We had a work truck towed out of an apartment complex for expired tags. That was our bad. They made us jump through hoops to try to get it resolved. We lost a job because they would not let us pick up our truck. They were demanding a notorized letter and CASH only. What!? This was on a Friday. Like the other reviews stated they made it impossible for us to meet their demands before they closed so they charged us another $125. $593.00 total. Something is not right. Beware. They are not legit!

We had the best experience with Shane at Boise Valley Towing. He was quick to respond and head to our house, got us back up and running right away, and really patient as I called and navigated things through our insurance company. I highly recommend!
Pulled my all-wheel-drive vehicle backwards for 80 miles while we followed him my vehicle started smoking so the driver stopped. Remove the front drive line and then flipped the vehicle around and then denied all damages completely totaling my vehicle. Very shady company. We found out from the dealer that we only needed an alternator now we need a whole new vehicle. I would not recommend this company.

These folks are extortionists. They picked up a vehicle that I own that a friend had left on Idaho State property in which they claimed was private property. Considering I'm a taxpayer, it couldn't have been private property, but that's not the point. The point is they're charging over $100 per day, but didn't bother to notify me for 7 days. When I asked for a little help on the almost $800 they said I owe, the owner just agreesivaly spewed about how it's legal for him to steal my vehicle. This is a company that shouldn't be operating in Boise. We are better than this.
I got my Toyota Camry stuck in deep snow at Portner Rd and Pioneer Lane. Pioneer Lane had not been plowed since the snow started falling last week. I didn’t know that so I didn’t know how deep the snow was. A neighbor tried to push me back onto Portner Rd but the snow was too deep and dense and the rd underneath was sheet ice. My insurance company called Boise Valley Towing to get my car free of the snow. The young man who came was Trevor, and very good at his job. He determined that because it was was snowing so thick and fast ever since I got stuck that it would be safest to put my car on the truck bed and drive it to my mobile home. When Trevor got it to my residence he got out and shoveled the heavy thick new snow in the culdesac from in front of my carport and then drove my car slowly off the tow truck and into the carport. Trevor went above and beyond to make sure I got home without getting stuck agsin. He was so very kind. I highly recommend them for their great quality of work and integrity, Thank you Trevor and Boise Valley Towing!!

When my automobile broke down at a busy intersection, their business came right quickly. They safely moved my car and took it to the repair. Well-organized, polite, and fast.
I had to have my RV hauled since it broke down when I was camping. Not every business can handle bigger cars, but these guys could and did a great job. Big relief.
Needed a tow for a motorcycle and wasn’t sure who to call. These guys had the right equipment and knew how to handle it safely. So glad I found a towing service with motorcycle experience.
I called to ask a questionand whoever answered was super rude and hung up on me.
Used them for local hauling of some heavy tools from my garage to a workshop. Smooth coordination, no surprises on the price. Everything arrived just like I left it. Really appreciated their care.

I had them do my exhaust which consisted of 2 welds and 2 bolts. After 5 hours and 150.00 I finally got to drive my car away. They are very inconsiderate of their customers time. Not busy at all just super slow. The worker that was there said it was a 30 minute job yet I was there for 5 hours. I paid in cash and didn't even get the cash discount even though it was posted up on he wall. The time before that they put aa new starter in and after we the 3rd day and 275.00 later I finally got my car back. I won't be coming back for a 3rd time.

Got a flat tire in Boise right as shops were starting to close on a Saturday. Called multiple companies, even used my roadside assistance but the provider was going to arrive 20 minutes after Discount tire would close. ASAP towing provided a faster response time. We had to adapt from a simple tire change to towing my vehicle. Operator was very willinging to help, and got me to the tireshop on time. Tow trucks are never "cheap", but the rate provided was really affordable given the circumstances. Driver was fast and friendly, definitely recommend this company.
Company needs more driver training. Be careful....

My parking permit was in vehicle on dash prior to towing vehicle. Over two tears had not had any issues until this driver gained access to my vehicle.. permit was hanging on mirror on 04 August 2025. Last time in vehicle.. operator unlawfully snooped in and around vehicle at 1 :00 am in the morning when he took action to make a quick buck while no witnesses would be awake. The business didn't care about resolving resolution, the representative was thinking I was someone who didn't know his business and how things are being done in the dark hours However the truth is tow company do gain access to any and all vehicles in their control. This tow company is extremely expensive and needs to be investigated by the tow company board and federal government for it's unethical and unprofessional behavior
I got notice on my vehicle that my car is going to be towed for unauthorized vehicle - lease violation at my apartment complex. It I have full documentation that my vehicle is on the lease. I was parked in a first come first serve spot. So there is no reason I should be towed. Someone didn’t do their job correctly
Abyss Towing. SHAME ON YOU! This guy made a Disabled Vietnam Vet pay a drop fee of 60 dollars. A man that fought for your freedom in this great country and saved lives. You didn't have to do that. I recently had my vehicle, which was not in a designated parking spot, towed from my apartment complex property by this company. I'd like to start with the positives of this unfortunate experience. > My car was seemingly treated very nicely, something I greatly appreciate. > The office staff was pleasant to deal with; the young man behind the counter made the experience easy and frustration free once I was in the office. I apologize his name escapes me. I, however, have two complaints. 1) Once it was noticed that my vehicle was missing, we contacted the number for this company (which we know our property complex deals with). We were told we'd receive a call back. We called back again some time later as we had heard nothing. No call back happened for 5 hours. We were not notified it would take this long and would have appreciated being told so instead of waiting by the phone through the night. 2) My main complaint is how this company works with my property management. My apartment complex has inadequate parking for the amount of tenants they house. This is already an immense inconvenience for me. Especially when the limited parking is taken up by unauthorized non-tenants. I *believe* the intent of a property management working with Abyss *should* be to make life easier for tenants by insuring adequate parking for tenants by removing unauthorized vehicles from legitimate spaces as is warned by the towing signs posted at our entrance. I honestly never see this happen. Every day (seriously - every, single day), there are unauthorized vehicles without tags taking up tenant spots. This makes it impossible for tenants such as myself to park in a legitimate spot. Therefore, it is not unusual to see several forced-out, tenant tagged vehicles parked in non designated areas such as alongside the fire lane, in crossed out spots, along the curbs, etc. These are the vehicles I see towed by Abyss. It is frustrating to see ONLY these vehicles removed. If the intent of working with property management is to help protect adequate parking for tenants as I have seen indicated in your response to another reviewer with similar complaints - I would ask Abyss to be a bit more thorough in their targeting and work. Otherwise it feels more like the typical predatory towing practice with property management.
I'll start by apologizing to the truck driver. My truck was towed from a handicap space I've parked in for 4 years, I was furious and not easy to deal with. Come to find out it's the property management company that suddenly had a rule change and Abyss has a contract to uphold. If I need towed I'll be calling them. The tow fee was reasonable, they were very professional when I was a total Ahole.

Tried reaching out to these guys I guess they like the rest no answer phone. Reason for the call was their crane was on a lowboy at the T/A parked on the end of a aisle with the boom well beyond the DOT code of 3' beyond the trailer it was out there a good 10' plus with no red flags out in the drive aisle like a ways and it damaged my Western Star. The night that it happen no one in the truck? Next morning after I eat and I come out of the restraunt I see the truck had moved forward and Boom was out of the drive aisle and I see a guy in the truck so I go over and try to discuss this situation. When I walk up I startle this cat he was drinking something out of a can in a brown bag? Anyways he thought that the boom in the aisle damaging my truck was Funny? He starts laughing and telling me how it's my problem because he was out of town on a plane to Phoenix? He say he just got in that's why he took it upon himself to move the truck so the crane boom wasn't in the drive aisle no more? I also tell him you got no flags on the end of the cranes boom he found that funny as well. So I went into T/A and took a shower when i come out he and another foreign looking guy were on a flat parked under the boom putting flags on the Boom. Itried to reach your office no answer. Hopefully the rest of your operation isn't so careless and finds that their careless actions that damage others property so Funny

Boise Crane is outstanding all the way around. I had to set 21 trusses for a 24x40 garage. I’m sure it’s an easy job for a pro, but a pro I am not. This was my first time ever setting trusses. First, scheduling with Rhonda couldn’t have been easier. She is so nice and asks all the right questions to be sure your project is a success. On setting day there was a minor mechanical hiccup but the communication from Rhonda and Jackie was excellent. Our operator John has 30+ years experience and it showed. We told him that we were newbies and he went above and beyond to help us out with his expertise. He helped us out and talked us up and had us feeling awesome at the end. Lastly, we had a few site and rigging challenges (our fault) but John’s “we’re going to make this happen” attitude pushed us through to completion. Safety was a top priority the entire time and despite being 20+ feet up in the air to set trusses we never felt unsafe. Thank you Rhonda, John and Boise Crane for a GREAT first time crane experience. I am a very happy customer and highly recommend Boise Crane.

From the time we called this company to the time my daughter and I picked up her vehicle, our experience was unfavorable. We called within 2 hours of the car being towed but got charged for 2 days of storage. We were told they only release one vehicle per hour so couldn't pick it up until mid afternoon. The guy who took our call was the same guy who collected our money, who insisted we pay in cash, and got our vehicle from behind the gate. He was condescending and disrespectful to my college daughter. We were not treated with respect and he gave my daughter a hard time for having an out of state license. I would not recommend this company. Also, note the address on the website is not their current address. They moved over 2 years ago and haven't updated their address online and thus we went to the wrong location. Hopefully this employee was just having an off day but even if that is true, I feel we were overcharged. This doesn't appear to be a reputable business.

I can’t express enough my gratitude and thankfulness to Jereb and United Towing & Recovery. The apartments I live in struggle with adequate parking spaces, sometimes requiring you to park in the EV spots. I was forced to leave town quite suddenly and had my vehicle towed by this company.
