I don’t typically leave reviews, but Nick’s Towing service deserves to be recognized. We were in a bad situation in downtown Raleigh and he got there within 12 minutes. He made a bad situation turn into a better day. Much appreciate his excellent service. He even offered me ride. He followed up with a photo at the delivery location, my mechanics shop.
I would give a 10 star review if I could. I was on my way to Selma for a hair appointment when my dashboard started glitching, with warning lights. I contacted my roadside assistance provider, which connected me with Nick's towing company. I would highly recommend Nick for all towing needs! He was incredibly professional, quick, and one of the kindest people I've ever met.

Morlando Crane did an amazing job for a project for our personal home requiring 120 ton crane. First, the office is super responsive and answers the phone. Communication from start to finish was excellent. The day of lifting was timely, orderly and safe. I credit Aaron, James H, Wes and Oscar for their attention to detail and knowledge of best practices. We talked to a lot of different crane companies, Morlando Crane stood out as the best !

Dave, from Matteo's Towing and Recovery helped me out back on August 4th and I'm just getting around to doing a review now?! I'm truly sorry and I hang my head low. Dave is the greatest; punctual, courteous and a wealth of information when it came to my ailing vehicle -- a 1989 Mustang LX 5.0, 5 speed -- which was in need of towing. While I lamented about my phone(Android)not working as it should, Dave took it and showed me -- on the spot -- the steps necessary to allow it to function properly and then took care of my car. What a great guy. You need a tow you know where to go: Matteo's!

Can’t express my gratitude enough for Dave of Matteo’s towing. Waited 8 hours for AAA to dispatch somebody to tow my truck when I stalled out on the way home. Finally called Matteo’s and Dave got to me in under 30 minutes. Hands down one of the friendliest towing and recovery companies I’ve ever dealt with in my thirteen years of working in automotive and heavy equipment.

My tire had blown out on my way to work at 7:45 am. They were towing me to Firestone by 8:20 am. They were fast, efficient, and wallet friendly. Definitely would recommend them!
Can't say enough good things about this towing company. My daughter's car broke down on twenty nine, and the owner himself came in a timely manner, as he told us, and the customer service was great! If you have to be broken down, he's the one you want to call!
Dealt with Gavin. He was very professional, nice , and great to work with. He listened, ask questions to make sure he did what was needed on his end. Very reasonable and I would for sure call them again if I need to. All around great experience!
Gavin is absolutely the man! I couldn't find anyone else to tow my vehicle from Greensboro to Raleigh, but Gavin promised to get me in before the end of the day. Sure enough, 30 minutes earlier than he'd told me, Gavin comes rolling up to my vehicle! We ended up chatting for a little while after he delivered my car and he has a great mind and soul. You don't meet people like Gavin, often! If you're considering him for your towing needs, don't hesitate! He's the one.

The driver appeared promptly and delivered my car safely. That being said, I can't give a higher rating because the driver spent every red light on his phone and was texting several times while the truck was moving. He also didn't put on a seat belt. While I'm glad that he successfully did the job I hired him for, considering that he was driving a huge vehicle with my car attached to it, I wish he'd been a bit more conscious of safety.

If this is five star towing that works with AAA their utter trash. They were supposed to tow my car last night when I put in the request at 7 PM it’s now 11:40 AM on the next day in AAA had to go and get a different tow service. The kicker is their headquarters is literally 10 minutes from where I needed to be picked up. If you don’t have the trucks to do your job, change things up! What if I couldn’t get my wife and kids home and they were in that car for 12 hours? Edit: now because the review he’s harassing and calling me. Yeah, AAA reached out to another towing company and they’re at my house already. So give all excuses you want dude very unprofessional. Very unprofessional to call me about a review. Do your job grow up. I see you talk to everyone blaming AAA, but I’ve been on the phone with them since 7pm yesterday. They reached out to you, multiple times over 14 hours! I tried calling! They say they will contact another towing company and guess what? Got a call in 20 mins driver was 40 mins away. If you couldn’t handle it TELL THEM, instead you don’t and blame them! Then you call me about a review but not about the service you get paid to do? Take some accountability!!! We all know AAA isn’t what they used to be, but this was on you and own it. If I wasn’t in town, my family would’ve been stuck in a vehicle overnight. Do you all have families?

She even asked if my vehicle had a valid license plate and registration, because without it, AAA wouldn’t provide towing under the free mileage plan, which could have cost me more than expected. The driver very friendly didnt take long at all. And he got here quick like less than 30 minutes i dont know where he was but he was here quick and on time. Price was very reasonal for a lockout. I call a company one time in knightdale they charged more than double the price. I will not name that comp. If i need service Five Star and Towing is my guy. Also i called Towing and Recovery and the lady gave me Five Star number and Adam name. She was busy her trucks were out. She was very kind also. If you need towing in Montgomery County NC call Central Carolina Towing. This is a local family run business. They provide their services at a fair price, with exceptional customer service, and are very professional. Our car broke down twice over Thanksgiving weekend and Central Carolina Towing helped us both times. They used flatbed tow trucks which are great for all wheel drive vehicles. They followed up with phone calls to make sure we were picked up, and recommended repair shops in the area. I can't recommend them enough.

Geno did a great job for me when my truck died on the side of the road late on a Saturday afternoon. He was very professional and courteous. I couldn't stay with truck due to a previous commitment, but he called when he picked up the truck and when he delivered it to the mechanic. I couldn't recommend Geno and Central Carolina Towing more.
Geno was excellent. After AAA made us wait 17 hours for a tow, that never got scheduled, he came and got us within an hour to tow us 55 miles away. After he dropped off our car at the shop he drove us 2 miles out of his way to get us home because the auto shop didn’t have a shuttle service. I wish I could give him 6 stars!
My truck conked out in a parking deck, so that created clearance issues for a tow truck. Central Carolina Towing had a nice smaller truck that handled the job with no issues whatsoever. They also have larger wreckers as well. The driver was super nice, quick to respond, and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend and use this company again.

Bill and his son are both super kind and really care about you! They worked with me to find a time that worked to pick up my vehicle and then dropped it off at the shop, checked it in and even sent me a video of what was wrong by with the vehicle. Great company! My car broke down in the rain on Hwy 40 during rush hour, so I called several local tow companies, and Bandit Towing was the only one to answer. Justin with Bandit Towing was able to pick up my car within 45 minutes and tow it all the way back to my house promptly. Again, ECT was freaking awesome. My 2011 Corvette GS shifter cable and bushings let go in a parking lot in Holly Springs. Contacted USAA for roadside assistance, 1.5 hours later Central One Towing showed up dude was in Basketball shorts and was a freakin idiot without a clue. USAA said they had no one to help me, Help myself. I called East Coast Towing, within 1.5 hours Irving showed up and knew exactly how to stage, load, transport and unload my car at Heister Chevy in FV. Always call East Coast.

Kimball's Towing should be on everybody's contact list! David and his crew are always professional, friendly, and willing to go above the basics. My first experience was when my wife had an appointment and found herself locked out her car. David came on the call found our house in the middle of nowhere an accomplishment on it's own and had her car unlocked and her on way arriving only 15 minutes late for the appointment. Obviously a lock out service was not in her scheduling but Kimball's made it happen smoothly and kept a potentially stressful event light and upbeat! Our second encounter was when the transmission went out on the car. David said he would be there in 20 minutes made it in under 15. Then gave me a ride back to Zebulon so I could get picked up and on way to work that much faster! And yes tow truck drivers DO NOT have to let you ride with them, some are even prevented from doing so by corporate or insurance rules and regulations. David is a great guy has an impeccable reputation and if you let him will keep you laughing throughout what could be very stressful event, no one likes having their car towed for any reason, if you do you are just wierd! Again, highly recommend Kimball's Towing and suggest everyone have them on their contact list.

Our truck caught a flat driving home from Greenville to Charlotte today. We pulled off at the Knightsdale Eagles Road exit. There were numerous tow places in the area but we had our car towed by Kimball Towing. They were so fast, I called them at 4:55p and by 5:03p a tow truck was in route to me. By 5:35p their company had already picked up my truck and had it towed to a local tire shop. I was back on the road by 6:03pm!! Impeccable fast, reliable, professional service!

Fastest tow of my life! My tire blew out on the way home tried calling three other tow services that gave me a wait time of 1-2 hours. Jeff got my location in waxhaw and was there to pick me up in under 30 minutes ! Even went as far as to drive me home! Safe, and reliable! Deeply appreciative of the service!

I have used this company 4 times and I'm about to get on the schedule for a 5th(unfortunately). Once for my 94 Mazda, which was towed behind like any other car. The second car was my 1974 Corvette, I *needed* a flatbed. Which I was really worried about as a tow behind would destroy it. I got on the phone with Jeff the owner, he assured me that a flatbed was no big deal and they handle cars that need flatbed tows all the time. That tow went smoothly. The 3rd time was the 94 Mazda again.. the front brakes weren’t releasing as they should and they were burning themselves up and overheating. Pulled over, looked up closer options. But I chose Hooked because I trusted them. They got to me as soon as they could, about 20-30 minutes I think, I was up in sun valley and they’re waxhaw based. (They beat my own ride home to me) The 4th car was a 05 Infiniti that also needed a flatbed (radiator was kinda falling out). Now unfortunately, my 5th tow... Also my 74 Corvette after a brand fell on it and broke the windshield damaged the Apiller, body, and squished the door messing up the perfect spacing. (Photo attached) Edit, my 5th tow went great. This was the longest tow I’ve used them for, 27 miles. Everything went fine without a problem(minus my broken car, but that was the branches fault) (y’all can tell which photo is from which trip). I have no problem calling them again, but I hope I never have too!

If you are in need of a tow call Coulwood Towing! I needed my truck towed from Downtown Charlotte to Rock Hill. After a couple failed attempts with other towing companies, Coulwood saved the day! I called around 8am on a Sunday and Greg was able to get to us within an hour of the initial phone call. Greg was very nice and maintained great communication from start to finish. Contact AAA and was given an estimated time. Mario showed up before the estimate time. His professional attitude, speech, and mannerisms said a lot about his work ethic. I watched as he made sure a few times that my vehicle was secured before pulling off. He also contacted me to inform me that he delivered the vehicle to my desire destination (from Charlotte to Greensboro). Overall, because of Mario's fast, friendly, and professional service I definitely recommend this towing company.

I just went through a 17 hour ordeal trying to get towed. Despite the fact I pay for 100 mile towing, AAA has become so automated and illogical they were only willing to call towing companies in the area known as "middle of nowhere" where I was broken down. After several hours in the dark on the edge of the interstate, a company agreed to tow me up to 30 miles so I was safe for the night... this was a help but I was still 55 miles from home. Four different times I received automated texts that "Help was on the way" only to have hours pass and no one arrive. Apparently some tow companies will accept the job but then depending on the distance and location they decide it's not worth their time. One driver actually admitted "AAA doesn't pay enough for me to drive that far." Ugh! After hours of dealing with the AAA Roadside Assistance nonsense through the AI robot and the app, I finally reached an actual human being who connected me with a supervisor - several more calls to reach a supervisor able to realize the local companies were not working. She agreed to call a company in Raleigh and gave approval for the 55 mile tow. When I spoke to Lexi at East Coast Towing, I knew things were about to change for the better. She sent out driver Willie Naylor and he got the job done! Willie not only did great work, he was great company on the ride back home. I cannot say enough positive things about East Coast Towing - professional, knowledgeable, can be trusted to keep their word and willing to go the extra mile. FIVE STARS and a huge thank you for getting me home!

Damaged car while it was being towed by east coast towing. My car left my driveway with ZERO damage to the windshield. When it dropped off at the repair facility- the driver took pictures. The pictures show my windshield cracked. Notified east coast towing and was dismissed with "it could have happened when you were driving". The pictures that show the before and after of my car were taken by east coast towing. Marvin stated he didn't see the the crack on the pictures.....they are taking no responsibility. Beyond poor customer service.

I was in quite a pickle with my Tesla Model X turning into a brick... let me tell you, this car weighs over 6000 pounds... and we were unable to open it to even get the wheels moving to put it in neutral.. I recently had to get my partner's car towed when the overheating warning lights came on, and One Direct Towing came through for us. My car broke down on my way to work (blown head gasket), so I called one direct and was swiftly taken care of… ETA was beaten by 5 minutes. Communication was thorough and the cash payment discount saved me a few dollars. $40 cheaper than roadside assistance from my insurance provider. Terrible circumstances but One Direction definitely helped ease the pain. Highly recommended.
KD handled the situation perfectly. He showed up on time with clear communication, assisted in jumping my truck and loading it to the flatbed. He was very personable and made the whole process easy and simple. He got my truck to the shop in a timely manner and even texted me to let me know the key was in the dropbox for the shop. We were out of town, approximately 45 minutes away. Very shortly after I called i got a text from the owner that said " on the road heading your way". The owner himself came out to pick up my vehicle. Super friendly guy! He knew we were trying to help family and he said " I've got this, you go ahead and do what you need to do". He got it secured and took it to my house. It was there waiting on me when we finally got home! Thanks again!!!

I called M.A.S. today regarding a dead battery. I spoke with an actual person. Cecille was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She gave me the trip cost up front and an accurate estimated time of arrival. She called to confirm when the truck was 25 minutes out and called again when they arrived outside my home. When the truck arrived, I believe it was Cecille and Rick, they were friendly and professional. Curiously, my car started without assistance, which they attributed to the cold weather. I'm sorry they paid a visit without a jumpstart or tow needed, but I'm glad I called them. M.A.S. left without requiring a trip fee and thanked me for the call. No doubt I'll give them a call the next time I need help.
My car was totaled in a recent accident. Both Eric and Cecile went above and beyond to both tow my car and to provide help navigating the insurance process. They genuinely care about your experience. I highly recommend them!

What a wonderful experience I had with Eric and Cecile! In my time of need, not only were the quick and responsive but were also very polite and accommodating. I broke down at an intersection in the rain, and this team showed up expeditiously and took great care of me and my vehicle. My daughter was in an accident and M.A.S. Towing and Recovery were called to tow her vehicle. They were very quick to arrive and load her car. They were very professional and I highly recommend. Her car was safely stored and the owners were very nice and helpful during this time. Again, I would highly recommend.

There customer service is outstanding. Dispatch was upfront with the price of my tow. There were constant text and a call from the driver to let me know exact time of arrival. I would not call anyone else if I was in need of a tow agian in the future.

Great customer service! Driver had excellent communication with me in regards to his arrival for pickup, his arrival at repair shop, and even the name of the person the keys were left with. He even sent me a video showing me an issue with my tire that was unrelated and that I was unaware of. Super helpful!
I couldn’t have asked for a better Tow Truck company to do business with than Bestco Towing Services. Mr. Brasker Walker was the towing driver that picked up my car to take to the auto shop for repair. From the time I received Mr. Walker’s call, till Mr. Walker arrived at my home, was 15-minutes tops! I found Mr. Walker very sincere, he got my car on the tow truck within 20-minutes and told me he would call me once he got the car to the auto shop and give me the name of the person who he turned my car keys over to, which is exactly what Mr. Walker did. It was a pleasure doing business with Mr. Walker during that short visit.
We didn’t encounter face to face however making sure everything was in order was excellent. Great communication!! Highly recommend
This company is just phenomenal!! My first and final call just pleasant. The communication was A1. I was aware of every single thing during the process of coming to retrieve my vehicle to it's destination. I was also informed 10 minutes before arrival so I can be prepared to be outside to help if needed. This service was quick, fast, efficient in every possible way. Their website shows pictures of big truck towing, but they also provide excellent and professional roadside assistance for cars too. My college aged son's Honda Civic would not crank. I tried jump starting it with a Duracell PowerPak, but there must not have been enough juice in it to work. So, I did not know if the problem was the battery, or if I might need a tow to a mechanic. After calling them for assistance, they thought that the problem was just a dead battery after all. Even though it was already early evening, they stopped by an auto parts store, bought the correct battery, and came to our house to install it. Happily, the problem was corrected, and I did not need a more expensive visit to the mechanic. I really appreciate Harvey's professionalism in being willing to stop by the auto parts store on his way to my house, and install it after hours. Many thanks!
I had a tractor breakdown after hours (10pm) alongside I40 eastbound in Greensboro NC. I was referred to “Fresh Start Roadside Assistance”. I was informed a tow truck would be at my location within the hour. We discussed the proximate fees and to my surprise a tow truck had been dispatched and on site less than the hour estimated. The tow truck driver was friendly, professional, proficient, and in little time we had dropped my broken truck off at my lot. I was very pleased with the tow.. so much so that in a few days afterwards, I needed a truck towed to a shop… without hesitation, I called “Fresh Start Roadside Assistance”. Absolutely rude: they were called via AAA, and did not know how AAA works - vehicle does not have to belong to me, I just have to be riding and with the vehicle (this was verified with a AAA supervisor). Also, did not understand that I had a different mode of transportation due to my dog being present. They did not consult me about my desire for towing before leaving/closing my service request and then refused to tow. Therefore I had to call AAA back and start the process over to get a different towing company. Would not recommend this company.

Had a blowout of a tire, got to a parking lot and contacted AAA. Technician very pleasant, changed the tire and made sure our spare was properly inflated.
Tow Service was good. Just seemed like it took forever to get there. Sitting on the side of I40 was not a pleasant experience. DOT stopped by twice while we were waiting.The lady I talked to said they would move us up 30 minutes. But it was still the original time quoted.
My car broke down on 26 March 2025. My wife called Watkins towing and my Chrysler 200 was picked up and dropped off at my mechanic in Kernersville. I met the tow truck there to get the key. He was disconnecting from my car and I noticed it took a couple of times. It was stuck on something but it didn't register yet. I was focused on getting the car fixed because my grandson needed it for work. When I picked up the car after the repair I heard a noise on the way home. When I looked under the vehicle I saw the splash guard was damaged. Also the inner wheel wells were damaged. I called Watkins about the issue and they told me the boss would be calling. I sent him pictures of the damage and went and got an estimate of the damage. I called Watkins again and they text me to get a estimate which I already have done. I sent them the estimate and then I got a call from the boss. He agreed to take care of it. I had already started the process to get it fixed because my grandson needed it for work. So I paid the 689.00 dollars out of pocket. I waited a couple of weeks when I called back Watkins because I received no check. So here we are me writing a review of a company you should think twice about using. If you use this company and they damage your car they seem to disappear. I have all the text pictures and receipts to prove my claim. Kernersville must not be a good place to retire. Between Watkins towing and Parks chevy dealer I've lost over a 1000 dollars. Be careful out there. After management changes the owner sent me a check. I'm glad that this issue could be resolved. Thanks..

ERS TOWING IS THE BEST, Most of all JAMES was fast and efficient. I called 2 other towing company’s. They weren’t able to complete the job due to it being a tight fit and the emergency brake being locked on made it almost impossible. But James manage to get the car out and dropped of to a safe location in VERY GOOD TIMING. Thank you Again 🙏🏽
DJ came out and helped my pregnant wife that was locked out of her car. She also had our baby girl with her. I could not help as I was out of town. He came to the rescue and was super nice to my wife and my daughter. Great guy. Thank you so much! 10/10
