I am from out of town (Arizona) and when visiting Monterey, my car broke down on Hwy 1. When AAA left me hanging for 3 hours, I searched for a tow company myself and came across Alacran Towing. They quoted me a great deal from Monterey to San Jose, picked me and my son up within 30 min and made sure we got back to SJ safely. Eric was careful with our vehicle, was a safe driver and was very nice! I highly recommend Alacran Towing! Thank you, Eric!!

Rude office ladies. So inconsiderate, lack of a professionalism. Hung up on them, didn't want their service after all.
My 96 miata's transmission and or clutch blew, still figuring out at the moment. Was in salinas, which is 45 minutes from my home. Called them up asked for a price and they gave me one. The tow truck came and the dude was really careful with the car. It's a really low car and most people won't tow it so this was a plus on service for me. The driver was very friendly and the service was amazing. Would recommend highly 👌👌👌

My review is based on seeing how one of their driver’s was recklessly driving. He was drifting in and out of lanes, cutting off cars and going way over speed limit. I called to let them know about said driver so hopefully something was taken care of. If the driver is driving that crazy I would never trust them with my car.

The man who assisted me was rude and condescending towards me when i was trying to figure what to do with my car. However the rest of the staff was polite and efficient in helping my dad and I.
The tow truck driver almost caused a head on collision with my car as I was driving down boronda rd. He didn’t want to drive the 30 seconds extra that would have taken him to make a left turn on sanborn to go into the food for less shopping center. Instead he decided to go onto my lane coming from Williams go the wrong way and almost hit me head on if it wasn’t for me avoiding him just so he can use the boronda entrance by the honey berry. I had my children in the car we all where scared and he still had the audacity to flash his lights and yell at me for driving the right way
As professional as they come, had a difficult tow and it was handled with care amd quick. Also had a couple lockouts that were quick and professional. This is a company you can count on!
Had a blow out at midnight. They came quickly, did an excellent job and were very courteous. The truck was very spacious and comfortable for my ride home. 👍

After waiting an hour, I got a call that it would take another hour before I can get help. But somehow, Oscar sensed my urgency, and ten minutes after the call, he arrived. 5 stars for Oscar.
Even after letting Vince know I was preoccupied with other things on my mind, he insisted on sharing his opinion on a lot of matters that were of absolutely no concern to him at all. I just wanted him to change my tire, not the loud music blasting in the parking lot of my work or any of his opinion on what a real truck is. I would not choose Salinas Garage Towing but ended up with them through AAA.
I'd rate Salinas Garage Towing zero stars based on 4-5 calls in three hours. The tow was for my father who is 76 years old and his car. Initially, they gave me a 30 minute window to show up with a flat bed. I got a call from the dispatcher lady that they couldn't make it after all and she said they were too busy to go on a long-distance tow on a flatbed and that the best she could do was store it until Monday or tow it with a regular tow truck. My dad said fine we will tow it with a regular truck. Called her back and with an even bigger attitude she said they didn't have a regular truck either. Basically, they didn't want to tow long distance. Her response was dismissive: "You're going to have to find someone else." Resorting to contacting AAA, I was informed that she needed to authorize the job's release. However, when I called to ask her, she initially claimed she didn't get any release or any AAA notification. After a lengthy and frustrating exchange, she eventually confirmed the release, but not before wasting three hours of valuable time. Do they get paid for storage or what? What was most disappointing was her entitled demeanor and lack of professionalism. Fortunately, I found prompt assistance and exemplary service with Salinas VALLEY Towing. They were courteous, efficient, and a stark contrast to the prior encounter. For anyone seeking reliable towing services, I wholeheartedly recommend Salinas VALLEY Towing.

Vincent was such a pro. Had the starter out and was stuck at a TB parking. Unfortunately there were some rude people that did not understand my situation. Lucky Vincent got the car secured and towed pretty fast. Would recommend. Thank you again.

From the moment I called in, Alexis was incredibly attentive and professional. She listened carefully to my situation, asked all the right questions, and reassured me that help was on the way. What really stood out was Alexis's communication. She kept me updated on the status of the tow truck, providing accurate arrival times and even checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. Her calm and friendly demeanor made a stressful situation much more manageable. When the tow truck arrived, it was clear that Alexis had briefed my driver, Carlos, thoroughly. He knew exactly what to expect and handled the situation efficiently. It was such a relief to see how smoothly everything was coordinated. I'm especially thankful to Carlos for coming in on his day off to help me out. Overall, I am beyond impressed with P&R Towing. Worst tow EVER! They messed up my tired I called the manager Mary.To see if she was professional enough to help! However she kept telling me that she was ganna call back but never did. Save your time and money.

Never use this company they rip you off just like they did to me they towed my car took it less than 3 hours and now they charging me 587.5 they’re rates are absurd go use another towing company and stay away from this one
Terrible company. Prices are absurd and they have no remorse for people who did nothing wrong. They don’t hear you out, all they want is your money.
