I was driving with my elderly parents and 3 small children to meet my husband in Carolina Beach. My Suburban broke down on the side of Hwy 40 in the middle of nowhere. I called Nick and he was there in 30 mins. He helped getting my elderly mother into the truck, helped with the kids, and reassured me that everything was good and made sure I was ok. He offered to take us 55miles to Wilmington to the dealership so off we went. I cannot say enough about the kindness and professionalism of Nick. He made a very stressful and overwhelming situation seem a little easier. I hope we never need to call a tow truck again, but if we are in the area and need one, I will be giving Nick a call. Safa went above and beyond with helping me get my project vehicle transported safely to the mechanic. Leading upon to our appointment he did an excellent job of communicating. He arrived on time, did a great job of loading the vehicle, and even helped me trim some overgrowth on my driveway so as not to scratch the vehicle. He is my go to for towing needs and I would 100% recommend him to anyone in need of towing a classic vehicle.

I just went through a 17 hour ordeal trying to get towed. Despite the fact I pay for 100 mile towing, AAA has become so automated and illogical they were only willing to call towing companies in the area known as "middle of nowhere" where I was broken down. After several hours in the dark on the edge of the interstate, a company agreed to tow me up to 30 miles so I was safe for the night... this was a help but I was still 55 miles from home. Four different times I received automated texts that "Help was on the way" only to have hours pass and no one arrive. Apparently some tow companies will accept the job but then depending on the distance and location they decide it's not worth their time. One driver actually admitted "AAA doesn't pay enough for me to drive that far." Ugh! After hours of dealing with the AAA Roadside Assistance nonsense through the AI robot and the app, I finally reached an actual human being who connected me with a supervisor - several more calls to reach a supervisor able to realize the local companies were not working. She agreed to call a company in Raleigh and gave approval for the 55 mile tow. When I spoke to Lexi at East Coast Towing, I knew things were about to change for the better. She sent out driver Willie Naylor and he got the job done! Willie not only did great work, he was great company on the ride back home. I cannot say enough positive things about East Coast Towing - professional, knowledgeable, can be trusted to keep their word and willing to go the extra mile. FIVE STARS and a huge thank you for getting me home!

Had to get my car towed home from an ex-friend's house after forgetting my keys in Kentucky. Service desk was very polite and understanding and the driver himself was even more-so. My job has used ECT before in the past with our box trucks and I will definetly call upon them again for a personal use case.

I called Bobby's Towing around 9pm, needing to get my car to the shop before the snow arrived. Chris was at my house before 10pm to help. He was kind, helpful, and made it very clear that the ball was in my court for any decisions. I appreciate his promptness, expertise, friendliness, and help. I hope I never have to have my car towed again, but if I do, it'll be with Bobby's Towing!
I needed a tow for my motorcycle when AAA failed to send one, and these guys showed up quickly and knew exactly what they were doing to properly transport my bike. The dude was great to talk to, and he went above and beyond for me. I'll be calling Bobby's first, the next time I'm stuck!

AAA could not find a tow truck on a Sunday afternoon so I called Further and Travis picked me up in 20 minutes. Super grateful!
Further Towing saved the day!!! I was driving from Hickory, NC to Raleigh this evening to pick my son up from college. My low tire pressure light came on several miles before I got to campus. I had a tire replaced the day before and felt this was a sensor issue since my car was functioning fine. Before I drove 3hrs home, I wanted my tire pressures checked. Honda roadside assistance could not confirm my coverage, despite using it yesterday. I called Further Towing and Travis took care of everything. He was prompt, courteous, provided excellent communication, and the highest level of customer service. He evaluated my tires and confirmed it was a sensor issue. I felt safe to drive home, especially at night. If you need roadside assistance or towing in the Raleigh area, look no further than Further Towing. They are the best and Travis is a true asset to their team.
Thankful for the service from this team at a rough moment. The driver responded to the accident quickly, even with another vehicle already in tow. He went above and beyond by opening the vehicle and making sure we were able to get access to everything at the scene that we could. The other responders were not aware of how to gain access. I had to go to their location to retrieve everything else, and the staff was was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The triple a people had me frustrated, in tears, and had completely left me on the side of the highway because the representative had to cancel my roadside request, AFTER Little John’s had already said they were on their way. This place basically said “screw it” and came to pick me up anyways. I am SO GRATEFUL that they were able to help me out of a bad spot and get me where I needed to go in a reasonable amount of time. Friendly and fast, they helped me out so much. Thanks y’all! Hopefully I don’t have to see you again anytime soon.
Called for a tow and was originally told the wait was going to be 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, I called multiple times and the call went straight to voicemail. When I did finally get a hold of somebody they told me it was gonna take another 20 minutes so another 20 minutes went by and absolute radio silence. Thankfully, some good Samaritans on the side of the road took the time out of their day to come help me but if you’re in a bind, do not count on this place for towing because they take forever. When I originally put in my request, they told me that I was going to get a tow truck at 10:26. When I checked the service time before I gave up and let the good Samaritans help me, the service time was pushed back to 12:46. I was in the middle of the road blocking traffic and was in danger. I pay for a AAA membership. As a contractor of AAA, AAA pays you to do a service for its customers, the fact that you cannot follow through means that maybe you shouldn’t be a contractor with AAA. I was lied to and ignored when I was in a very desperate situation. Again, do not rely on this place.
My Dodge Durango had to get a tow last night because it was overheating. AAA was backed up with a lot of calls and it was late and Little John’s took the call and still picked my car up. Thank you for that! And shout out to Joshua the driver, very professional, very nice, and good with towing. He drove my car off the flatbed properly and parked my vehicle where I wanted it to be parked. Thanks again because my day and night was horrible dealing with my car issues.
My tire went flat and I needed a flatbed tow truck to get it to the tire shop. Rey came and had a pump so he could safely hear my car on the bed without damaging my wheels and was very efficient. Quick fast service. Definitely recommend!

Avoid This Company at All Costs After years of loyal business and spending thousands of dollars with this company, I am appalled at the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior I experienced. I called to get my semi-truck pulled out of a rut after trying to free frozen trailer brakes. The night before, their dispatcher quoted me $250/hour and instructed me to call back at 7 a.m. for assistance. The next morning, I spoke with a man named Rob, who was condescending and rude from the start. When I asked about the price, he abruptly told me it was $350/hour and snapped, “I don’t know what she told you, but it’s $350. Do you want me to do it or not?” Wanting clarity, I called back to explain that we had a long-standing business relationship, and their rates had previously been adjusted based on that. Another man picked up (who may have been the same guy, not sure), identified himself as the owner, and flat-out refused to honor the original quote. He rudely stated, “GET SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT. I don’t care what she told you. It’s 7 a.m., and I don’t have time to argue.” Then he hung up on me! Despite this, they still dispatched a driver to my location, which I thought was odd and bold. I declined their services immediately. Another company ended up pulling me out for $165 without the drama. This business is rude, unprofessional, and clearly doesn’t value its customers—even long-term ones who’ve spent thousands of dollars with them. Save yourself the headache and find a company that respects you and your time. Avoid them at all costs!
Call Alan's Towing for your RV towing needs. Couldn't have been a better experience. Our 35 Foot Class A diesel motor home threw the serpentine belt and required towing to Triangle Fleet Services for repair. After the previous towing company no-showed, we called Alan's Towing. Robert said he had an experienced operator and tow truck and could be there by 1:00. At 12:45, Philip, the operator showed up. He was clearly experienced in RV towing, was careful and professional. He removed the driveshaft and completed the setup including tying up the mudflap. While towing, he was careful to avoid overhanging trees. At drop-off he reinstalled the driveshaft and turned it over to the Service Center. I highly recommend Alan's Towing.

Got stuck on the side of the road with a dead battery, don’t ask me how, I have no idea lol but I put out a call and within 15 minutes a gentleman, Worth, showed up and got right to work. The whole ordeal took less than two minutes and I was back on the road headed home. Worth was respectful, very professional, and offered some advice on how to prevent it from happening again. If I could give 10 stars, I 100% would! Thank y’all so much!

Absolutely awful people, towed my car at 4 am from my place of work on a saturday night. keys to my apartment are in my car, wont let me get my car until monday despite my dog being locked alone in my apartment, and are charging me for weekend days that they wont let me get my car on.
I had Barbour's towing move two 40ft, loaded containers for me. The driver was really friendly and very professional. He placed the containers exactly where I wanted them to go. I will use Barbour's again in the future when I need something towed.
Brock was not only a knowledgable technician, but also a fine man. My 1st semi-style tire on Class A RV was off the bead & uninflatable. (Stories of lighting WD40 or lighter fluid to seat the bead were unimaginable for me to try). I was in a bind with my car and financially. They are the cheapest tow around for $100. The girl That answered the phone was great and professional. The guy who towed my car was also very professional and courteous. My car didn’t get damaged and they were fast and efficient. Would recommend.
Met the owner Johnathan a few years back just shooting the breeze at RDU waiting for a plane. Anyway he seemed like a really nice guy .. gave me his card and I’ve always kept it in my wallet just in case. Well needed some help when my tire blew up on the highway and didn’t have enough muscles to wrest free the lugnuts myself to change a tire. Cars were whizzing by and it really was a dangerous situation as part of my car was hanging out in the lane of traffic on interstate 40. I reached into my wallet and dusted off his business card and gave him a call. He instantly remembered talking to me, I told him my situation, and responded without hesitation that he’d be there personally in under 15 minutes. And so he was.. quite a feat during morning rush. Good thing he brought an impact gun as the lugnuts were nearly rusted tight on the wheel rim. Got my tire changed quickly and I was on my way. I’ve used towing and roadside services in the past but never had one respond so quickly and professionally as Johnathan from Straight Away Towing Service. Thanks so much!
Don't leave too many reviews unless deserved. These guys did great work for my auto transportation business when we were in a tight spot. I will be using them in the future, and recommend you do to.

After waiting for three hours for AAA to arrange a tow truck to come get my car, Kendrick came to the rescue. He was able to see if he could jump start my car and when he was unable to, he promptly towed my car. I was greeted with great professionalism, wonderful communication and helpful information. While AAA did not help me much, Renegade Towing was able to make my situation much better.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Left my son sitting on the side of a road at NC state on 5/2/24 from 4:25 pm until 8:15 pm. Said he’s be there in 30 minutes and then denied the tow to AAA. Never updated us. At that point, another tow company was assigned and he has to now wait another hour until after 9pm when he has finals. This is the second time this has happened to us in a month with AAA. I have been a member for eight years and will never renew again.. I would also never call this company for a tow, even if they were the last one operating in Raleigh. Oh yeah, and even though the driver called us and told us he would be there in 30 minutes, he then blocked our number when we tried to call him back to find out why he still wasn’t there over an hour later. Very professional.

We canceled the tow, because he was 40min late..get this…renegade told AAA they towed us. Now I’m out my tow. 🤮🤮🤮 I’ll be suing renegade towing, dash cam doesn’t lie… 2 weeks not one call back.. I keep calling ??? Come one guys

The Tyndall’s, caused more distress than Honda regarding my vehicle. I did everything correctly in the beginning, turned in keys and told them I would be returning for it once paid off. It’s almost impossible to get someone on the phone, one day I called three times and left a voicemail yet I had to follow up again because the call was never returned. Sometimes I would call and be told they’d call me back however they never did. My vehicle was released for a week before anyone informed me even though I had spoke with them during this timeframe. When we were finally able to speak with someone, Todd (owner) dismissed my concerns entirely while calling me a liar. After everything that we had experienced we wanted to speak to someone in person about our concerns. When we went to go pay our fees we talked with Vicki (front office) who simply kept telling us nothing could be done and did not issue a single apology. We did pay the fees and left but not before making sure they were aware of the terrible customer service they provide, which includes staff verbally insulting customers. It’s a pandemic, everything is crazy, there is no reason for anyone to be treating others the way A+ Towing treated us. Please avoid if possible. Also, please remember all businesses can be researched on the NC Secretary of State website.
The worst experience of my life this company did a recovery on my dad's truck when he passed and stole some of his personal possession's before they returned his property to me what they don't know is im covered so they will reap what they sow KARMA IS REAL I don't play about my family &neither does God

They are rude an unprofessional I was sitting in my vehicle when they backed to so fast a jacked my car up in the air with me in it almost gave me a heart attack. My car was not vin at all after I was screaming I’m in the car I’m in the car if I hadn’t said anything they would have pulled off with me in it. The car was running he stuck his hand in an took my keys a removed my car keys instead of waiting for me to hand them to him. The guy was rude a kept saying I was been recorded after I asked to get my stuff out that’s when they vin my vehicle. I asked about a drop fee they denied it saying theirs no drop fee when I know that’s a lie bc I have several friends a family with their own tow company an their is a drop fee. to me this company is rude money hungry 450$ for a repo that they couldn’t wait till 8am for me to pay is crazy, or at least give me a drop fee
Got behind on my car payments due to hard times with the economy and inflation. My lien holder used this company as a third party to come tow my car. They stole so much of my property out of my car before I had the chance to come and get my things. I had to file a claim and I’m hoping to be able to replace what they took. Everyones experiences are different but this is why reviews are important. DO NOT TRUST this company with ANY of your vehicle needs. The karma that will come back on them and affect them personally as well as professionally is coming sooner than later because I’m sure I’m not the only person who has experienced this with this company.

Towed my car while I was sleeping, which was parked in MY assigned space in front of the home I own and live in, saying that there was no parking tag. The tag had fallen into the passenger floorboard and was clearly visible through the window. My very sick dog had a vet appt this morning which I had to cancel as I had no car. Guess these guys were bored on a rainy Tuesday in downtown Raleigh and told their crew "Let's go make some money by towing disabled ladies' cars out of their assigned parking spaces". Lived here 6 years and I've never seen them come anywhere near our lot. ACE was rude and said only that they "had a contract". Not anymore ACE. You're getting ready to be fired. Predatory towing is an ugly business. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Had this company tow my truck when I was in an accident. It was my fault, not under the influence, nothing else involved. Just had them tow the truck to my home. Driver loaded the truck onto the rollback, I showed back up on scene, he asked me to follow him. He dissapeared taking a weird route apparently to my home. Upon receiving the truck, both front floor Matt's are missing, a rosary given to me by my sons passed away mother and a halloween mask, Jason theatrical. Contacted the company and they claim nothing was stolen, naturally. Worst part is, my family has a very good relationship with Kim the owner, my mother in law used to clean her home. There are many more things that could be said given that relationship but don't need be. I just want my items back! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB whom I have a very good working relationship with in the raleigh area. Also with the police department for theft out of my vehicle. Do not trust this company. When called for an explanation Kim said there is no reason and hung up in me. These guys are theives and have always been known to be. Another employee named Jeremy used to sell people cd players, and radar detection equipment out of the cars for side money. He's now part of the office team. Don't use ACE!!!
Wow...so my daughter and her friend (good college kids from great homes) weht to Raleigh last night for the fire work show. Before parking in this area where multiple cars were parked, they asked a police officer if they could park there to be sure as they are not from the area. They were told yes. They come back and the car is gone. They were in disbelief thinking they parked it and forgot where, that was differently not the case. Ace towed their car and charged them 207..to retrieve it. It makes me wonder if this was a set up or if the claim predatory tow is in fact what they were victims of. God sees and knows and vengeance belongs to him. A law will soon be in place concerning towing and companies will be help more accountable.
~sigh~ I did a *kinda* smart thing and got played by the universe. I celebrated my 21st birthday, had a drink and a shot —that’s it, I’m lightweight. I was going to attempt to drive home, but as I rounded the corner, I felt extremely uncomfortable with that so I parked at a mcds since it was the closest thing I could get into on that street. I go to a friends place, eat, drink water, rest (not sleep). And I’m feeling much better, so I mosey on down to where I parked my car — gone. Absolutely nowhere to be found. Tried calling non-emergency, had to wait an hour before the system could tell me where my car was. I call again… Ace! Of course, why wouldn’t these shady pickpockets have it? Just my luck. I drive a small sedan. An old one, at that. Why is my bill 240 (cash)/252 (card)?!? To go 3 miles (YES, THREE MILES) from where I parked, to the tow yard. And it was only for a few hours, not an entire day by the time I had called. Yes, I did my *light* research in this company, and also finding the average for towing and mileage. ~150 is definitely the more reasonable price for a standard tow to go 3 miles. So, I go to pick up my car and ask “why is it 240?” “That’s the fee” the man quickly replies. As if he had it down pat, practiced and all. Didn’t skip a beat. Asked for my ID — that’s it. Nothing else. No proof of insurance, no proof of ownership. Literally nothing else. I even asked if he wanted them, he said no. While he got my id, he didn’t ask for my proof of ownership. Even tho he probably ran my name thru the system, it’s still required by law to ask for proof of ownership. At this point, it’s about 7:45am. I was just waiting for sun-up, haven’t slept, haven’t had anything other than the lil snacks n water, I’m tired n don’t even feel like fighting it. I just wanted my car back, so I give him my id and he takes a photo. THEN he goes inside to get a receipt, and came out with it filled out BEFORE i even paid for it. It actually says “paid,” meaning he wrote it while I was still entering my information for the payment to process (that is on me, I’m not a morning person even with sleep). I didn’t even ask for the invoice to be itemized. The invoice has literally one thing on it. This is not computing at all. This has sent me back so much, and all I wanted to do was be safe for myself and others. Parking in mcds might have not been the best choice, but it’s far better than driving buzzed, even if it’s only 15 minutes. No wonder this place is considered “predatory” it’s an absolute disgrace. And as i read these reviews and replies, some said tows are 150 (like this one from only a month ago), some said 200 (those were MORE than a month ago). 240 is outrageous, shady , and it’s not making sense. Happy birthday to me. Edit/reply: 1) I was downtown, where parking IS free on the side of the street after 8pm (?) and on the weekends, signs say it. Thus, your claim of “no free parking” is incorrect. Not only was it after 8, but it was also the weekend. 2) under influence, I didn’t think I could park straight without lines. Didn’t want to have my car tilted on a street, and someone hit it bc I parked like a lunatic. Like I said, that parking lot was the closest thing, and I asked the manager if it was ok (not claiming they’re above the law, here) 3) yes, I also did my research on “breaking the law” with reason. Even called the non-emergency to ask. Lo and behold, my reason is valid for safety, considering the circumstances. 🤷🏾♀️ I may not know everything but asking questions, using google, and calling people is free. So, while I “learned my lesson,” I hope you get it together quickly. Because you still failed to touch on how one of YOUR people broke the law while I was getting my car, wrote the receipt BEFORE it was paid, and the fact that your replies to others on here are incredibly inconsistent… you live up to your bad rep.
Terrible customer service experience. The woman assigned to help us came out of a call with our HOA and proceeded to berate my wife. She also threatened to charge us full price (when previously agreed to half) due to my wife’s “attitude” when she was really just quiet and frustrated at having her car towed. The only positive experience was the woman working the front desk who was nice… and the dog.
