Thus company and particularly the driver are AWESOME! They were the 3rd tow company I called that knew what they were doing. They were on time and the driver was the most knowledgeable tow driver I've ever dealt with. Very courteous and went that extra mile. I would recommend Day and Night Towing to anyone in the St. Pete area.

Scheduled a day before. Confirmed one hour before pickup. After standing around waiting for over an hour I asked for an eta. They then said they had another call and it would be several hours before they could come. Guess they don’t care. Worst towing company I have ever dealt with.
Theyre a very busy and professional place, but they still managed to pick me and my car up in 20 minutes. The driver was friendly and the rate was fair. Would call again.

Post Helene, we needed to tow our inoperable SUV (due to surge damage) to the dealer for an assessment. Our covered parking spot was a tight space in which to maneuver, and we needed a quick response time. Ty was excellent to work with, ensuring that the tow truck he brought out would be compact and he expertly maneuvered in tight spaces. He was extremely careful with the SUV. He was transparent in the challenges and costs, and very reasonably priced under the circumstances. He was professional and his invoices and receipts satisfied our auto insurer for reimbursement. We would not hesitate to recommend this towing service.
My experience with Day and Night Towing was exceptional. I called and they were there in 10 minutes. I needed brakes and they beat the competitors by $100. They gave me white glove service. I will recommend them to anyone! Real talk!

On the road driving the speed limit. I was harassed and honked at heavily by the driver of this tow company. On 275 in Tampa and on the Bridge to St. Pete. Whoever you were honking at me The NERVE of you!!! I drive for safety. Either leave on time or drive properly.
Just saw one of their drivers throw a big foam soda cub out their window into the neighborhood road. 35th St. N. just south of 22nd Ave. Oct. 19th around 11:20am. Really inappropriate. Please let the driver know.
I called this company when my daughter was broken down late one night on the side of US 19 and I must say these guys were there quick and very professional. I’m so happy they got my daughters car to safety and were very friendly and accommodating that late at night it definitely help her feel better about being broke down on the side of the road alone we will be using them in the future!
My neighbor used this company... Well needless to say he must have been having a bad day cus he decided to park in front of all the cars to block us in... I was sitting in my car trying to leave when he pulled up me being courteous let him pull in I never in my wildest dreams thought that he would block me in.. there's 2 open lots and your going to choose to park in front of the driveway... Obviously your not think right ...now imagine him having to load your car on that truck and drive down the road... I'd be willing to bet he does not care and would break your vehicle

You all are bad people. You think you aren't hurting people but you are. $150 charge cash only on Sunday June 25, 2017 towed my car from a bar. You're the worst part of America. I wasn't hurting anyone being parked but taking money from my family does hurt. I hope you're happy with my actual hard earned money for your barely legal scam.
We have worked with this excellent company for many years now and they have always been polite and professional. I would recommend them to any one that just needs a tow and to businesses that need help enforcing their parking policies. Great people!

This company towed my car for “expired tags” recently. Turns out my tags weren’t expired, but someone had found a way to steal my registration sticker. Just because you can legally tow a car that has expired plates does not mean you should. It’s a law that needs changed. Police do not impound a car for tags, at most it’s a ticket and usually only a warning to remind you to renew your tags. Expired tags do not mean a vehicle is abandoned. So while I do appreciate tow companies that remove nuisance vehicles and keep our community looking nice, I abhor this company’s practice of towing every day drivers for expired tags. It’s a money grab and I get it you’re a business, but should I ever need a tow myself for any other reason I’ll never use your company. Believe me, I have awful luck and have needed tow services many many times in my life. You did make a mistake and your driver admitted it. We picked up our car without having to pay your company any money. The frustration is not something you can refund. The hour of my life it took to get the car back can’t be returned. He did not run the plates when he took the car. He did run the plates when I showed up the next morning and apologized. His response was that everyone makes mistakes. I agree, like having a tag expire and not catching it. The difference is when your company made a mistake it didn’t cost you anything, when I made a mistake I had to pay you for it. Nothing personal against the driver or your company but the practice of towing a vehicle that is clearly a daily driver for an expired tag is underhanded. The law is on your side I get it, that doesn’t make it just. I never said you worked with the police to impound vehicles. I made the comparison that a police officer would likely offer a warning to get your tags up to date, whereas your company takes it as an opportunity to grab some money. I’d be happy to come in and discuss the matter but I’m sure it wouldn’t make a difference and I’d still be out the money for this most recent tow.
Driver kept telling lies that car was illegally parked. After explaining, told them it was not. He went away. They need to train they're people more and fire people that are not professional. Choose a different company if I were you. Would not recommend.

Black Jack towing refused to provide me service being a resident from an apartment homes location where I am expected to call this towing company to rely on in case an unauthorized vehicle parks in a resident spot is a complete disrespect. Paul refused to move an unauthorized vehicle even after informing him that I had prove that this was my spot. He asked me to park at another resident spot and even asked me for my vehicle information. This company shows no respect and so unprofessional I will be taking this up to my leasing office.
As a veteran, critical care nurse and deputys wife i am applaud. I was at a friends residence on 6/16 at 1430 to drop my daughter off for a small birthday gathering. When i went to leave at 1445 my car was gone. I called the Pinellas County Sheriff's department at 1452 to locate my vehicle. The sheriff's department had no record at this time of who the towing company was that picked up my vehicle. They sent a deputy out just to make sure everything was ok. My friend called her HOA whom let her know the tow company is Black Jack towing as they do not allow parking on the street. (But 15 minutes come on, this tow comany was trolling the neighborhood) Once finding out the towing company and calling to find out where it was towed (that it is an 18 minute drive to pick up my car) and that it is going to be $130. My purse with my wallet and license and my ID badge for work is in my car. And to mention i was just at the store with $83 of perishable groceries in my car. I am a Critical Care Nurse and must report for duty with my badge and on time and was a must i get my car back asap. Upon arrival to get my car, i pulled out my credit card, at which time they stated its cash ONLY. It was 1702 the banks were closed and i did not have a debit card. They did not reference paying cash at anytime. Lucky the my friend had $150 in cash. Then they tell me they dont give change. Meanwhile I have my younger 8 yearold daughter standing in the hot sun. They stated i had to go across the street to get change. Needless to say i got my vehicle.
Bob and Ryan are fantastic! I have a tendency to buy very unreliable cars, and when I break down and don't want to wait 90 minutes for AAA, I make sure to call them first. They're quick, professional and extraordinarily reliable. I wouldn't recommend another towing company.
All these negative reviews. All from people who misparked or got repo. A few years ago I blew a tire on my geo metro. One of the lug nuts was stuck. I called several tow places in the area, minimum of $150 for up to a 5 mile tow. Also up to a 2 hour wait at 6pm. Called BlackJack they said it would be less than $75 for the tow. When we got to the yard he used an air chisel to get the lug nut off, changed the tire for me, and charged me a total of $50. I will never call anyone else for any towing or mechanical needs ever again! They were amazing, cheap, helpful, and respectful.
Great communication from initial call taker, and with the driver, and all the way to drop off. The price wasn’t the cheapest quote nor the most expensive either. I paid a fair price for the service and definitely was happy with how fast they took care of the situation. They made the call feel like a priority, and we felt well taken care of. Payment was easy. I used my card with the driver at drop off and received an electronic receipt instantly that was clear and easy to read. No hidden charges or price change. I will absolutely recommend them to others and keep them saved in my phone.

This people got a monopoly in Clearwater in the Largo area I live in a gated community I got a parking ticket on my windshield in my car. They still told my truck and I had to pay $207 no warning or nothing they just took it. The girl had a real bad attitude over the phone. You can only pick your car by appointments only. I just moved here like a year ago from Philadelphia and I can’t believe this stuff. How the city let something like that happen here in ClearWater Florida. If you live in a the grand reserve apartment in Clearwater or in largo they let them come in when you sleeping and the take your car simple as that

An apartment complex I lived in had my car towed because of a flat tire (I was in the hospital that week and NO ONE had the decency to call me before/during or after the car was towed). When I called to get the car back they said I owed $800 for towing and storage fees and they refused to accept payment over the phone. When I went to their place the next day no one was there and when I called they told me I had to make an appointment in advance to get the car. They wouldn't come that day to let me get the car. A few months went by before I called them again to make arrangements to get the car and was told that it was deemed an abandoned vehicle and sold at auction. It is obvious from all the negative reviews posted on their website that something needs to be done to stop these unscrupulous theives. I am currently seeking to hire an attorney to help get them to reimburse me for the value of the 🚗. Wish me luck!. to take them to court and reimburse me forthe value of the car that I'll never see again.
Towed my brand new, freshly washed 2021 Camaro Convertible... Which was backed into a legal spot...on the 3rd floor...in my private residence... in a secure and gated building... At 2 am... 3 days before christmas... Because I hadn't yet displayed the "new sticker" on the back window. The tow truck driver had to physically exit his truck, walk around the back of the car, and check in order to even know I hadn't displayed the new tag. Out of curiosity, I walked the garage and counted 6 other vehicles BEFORE getting to mine who also didn't have said sticker displayed. Forget the transponder sticker which is required to get in the gate... And the color coded rearview tag with the building name printed on it... and forget the fact the license plate was registered to my apartment and recently updated when I changed plates. The icing on the cake is the fact that the vehicle was pulled out at precisely 1:51 am and their policy MAGICALLY only includes 6 hours of storage for the flat $125 tow fee. They were sure to also charge me mileage (14 miles away) as well as additional charges for time storage. $191 in total. Oddly enough, when I went to pick the vehicle up, they had no employees working. I called the phone number and was told someone would be sent out. 8 minutes later, I called again and was placed on hold for 24 minutes before I hung up and called the alternate phone number for their Tampa location and was told that he was on his way. Another 20 minutes later, a tow truck driver showed up, blowing his vape clouds while I was trying to pick up my vehicle. He then proceeded to ask me how many horsepower my car had and continued to make multiple jokes about racing me on his tow truck, stating he would win ...if he took the bed off? What? To boot, the road to get to the yard has crater sized potholes and is a dirt road so my freshly washed car was also completely filthy. Unprofessional, unintelligent, and unethical come to mind. Cash grab, scam of a company who only cares about a pay day.
Typical tow company. They stole my truck from resident parking in less than 60 minutes. I actually had contacted 911 before they even called in the tow. I let the tow company know I was on the way and still stood outside waiting for 45 minutes at 11pm. Thanks again! Bless your hearts.

They towed my niece's car her first day at work, she has not received her sticker yet they just want money. Horrible people. Even when her boss took her to pick up the car and told them she was an employee they still charged her.

Car was towed from Clearwater beach. When I went to go pick up at 10:30PM there was no one at the office. I called 2 times and someone told me that the guy should be back in 15 min giving me all the attitude. Also when I called to find out where my car was I was told they are open 24/7. Why are you holding my vehicle hostage? Terrible service hole in the wall. Deserved 0 stars. Almost called the cops on them. Worst people I have ever dealt with. Yes they are the worst towing company ever. The white guy with tattoos all over his face is the most nastiest person they have ever. How do you people have such ugly hearts! This company just wants money. That’s it .
quite literally the worst company i’ve ever had to deal with, EXTREMELY unprofessional. They towed my car, and ended up popping my tire then wouldn’t even consider taking responsibility👍🏻 called multiple times to which a lady just hung up, then they proceeded to ignore every single call. I sent them emails and explained the situation to which they responded as pictured. Claiming my tire was popped prior to them towing it, which just isn’t true. absolute p.o.s at Kotakis! <3
