I had a flat tire as I arrived to work today. Central Iowa Towing was notified and in under 60 minutes they arrived, removed my flat, placed a temp tire and brought my tire into a dealer for repair/replacement. Jamie identified the culprit. Their service was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and overall excellent. This is what I call customer service. Jamie was amazing. Highly recommend. A++
Excellent service! I have used them multiple times. I decided to use another local company for some foolish reason. I scheduled a week out. The other company canceled the morning of pickup. I then called Central Iowa Towing. They came to the rescue once again… in less than an hour! Never again will I Go elsewhere. You folks are very clutch when people need you. Thank you!!
Bobby from Central Iowa Towing responded within minutes of my call, assessed the situation, and was able to jump start my car. I was able to drive to get a new battery without having to tow the car into the shop. That saved me $30 off what would have been a $105 tow charge! Super helpful service from both Zoey and Andy. (Apologies if I spelled any names wrong.) Called in a pretty panicked state yesterday but Zoey was able to dispel my concerns easily and promptly with a lot of understanding I wasn't quite getting from another towing service. Andy sorted the tow and drop off extremely quickly even though both the pickup and the drop were in kind of awkward spots. Amazing service all around, much love to them both.
Bobby was a super nice and happy guy, and I just love seeing people actually care about their job. 5/5!

What a great company. My wife and I got stranded heading up for a weekend trip to Minnesota. With two little ones in the car we were stressed and weren’t getting much help from our insurance roadside assistance. After one phone call, G & S dispatched James who quickly came to our aid. He was so kind and put my mind at ease. He even took care of key drop off at the dealership where it was delivered for service. Thanks so much. A hard day made so much better.

$290 for a 25 mile trip only to leave with the key!!! Idiots! I called as soon as I realized what happened, driver wasn’t gone for more than 10 minutes, and dispatch told me he was 25 miles away with another customer - LIAR!! I begged her to give me the location so I could drive to get my key as my mechanic friend couldn’t assess anything without the key. All she said is I’ll have to wait until he’s done with the next customer!! Worst excuse for customer service ever! Use anyone but this service!
Car got towed after my accident. Glad it is totaled... the raccoons got in my car and made potty all over the car and helped themselves to my babies snacks... Can't tell if it was the raccoons or someone else, however 200$ cash is missing from under my driver's side floor mat. The sick thing is they clip into the car... you have to actually pop them up to search.... Way better than Crow Tow though... At least they left me some change. Insult to injury I guess.

I had a breakdown and Perry’s arrived as promised. Driver was very friendly and professional. He was able to get my vehicle on his truck safely and fast. I would strongly recommend their service. Very reasonable in pricing.
The people at the Company were nice, but we were informed incorrectly at the car dealership. They told us to go through here, to have our car towed and so it cost 250.00!! We would have had it reimbursed by Corporate however the employee at dealership gave us incorrect information and since this is a 3rd party tow place, we were screwed. Then, we were told we might be able to save a little on the towing but that did not happen either.
Gary was amazing. He came in and was very professional but understood that it wasn't just a car he was towing. It was our livelihood. He joked and made us feel 10x better over a bad situation. He was the best! Highly recommend Perry's towing and make sure you ask for Gary!
Job well done. It's my sister-in-law's car; they towed it and replaced a serpentine belt same day. They were pleasant, professional, and didn't complain about splitting the payment with two payment methods. As good of an auto repair experience as can be expected when your car breaks down.

Pascal came and changed my daughter’s flat tire on the side of I-80 tonight after she hit a pothole. I called at 10:01 pm and he was there by 10:30 pm. He was friendly, fast and reasonably priced! Thank you so much for keeping my daughter safe! You were such a blessing tonight!

These guys rescued me I was from out of town in the Oski Iowa great people and great community But I’m here in this town on Rightbusiness and my rental problem is with Enterprise rental car employees all then are no give a care run around company that tell you anything you believe then they leave you. However, I have spent three weeks here, and I love all the people in the hospitality and the warmth and welcome that they made me feel this outstanding. I’m stating that the rental car company I use enterprise is worthless all I can see is best of luck if you rent a car from them. Innocuous

Before you hire them swing by their shop check out all the certified mechanics that services the cranes. If you do find a certified mechanic I would be very surprised. It should take a team a mechanics to service the machines to make them safe and ready.

My tire blew out right before First Street in Ankeny around rush hour and if you live in the area, you can imagine how bad the traffic was. Mad J was there to save the day! Payton was extremely friendly and understanding. He got me safely out of that area and put on my spare tire. The service was very well priced!
We were towed here yesterday by I forget his name. Very personable. He and my husband chatted all the way to the shop after this guy got us out of -5 temperatures. They got us in the shop kept us updated as to what was going on and got us out in a day. Thank you , thank you, thank you. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I run a medium sized fleet for Sysco. I had heard Mad J was a good reliable and viable option for towing. The winter of 23/24 was bad for us. I tried Mad J, they came thru in our time of need over and over again. I then found out they have an excellent shop. They do work for us when we have too much and can't get it done. They have helped us out in more ways than I can mention. Mad J is my go to for towing and road call repairs. This is a great company, they will have your back, even when you don't.

Worse experience ever. I live in an apartment complex that has a contract with them. Doesn't matter where you put your sticker on the windshield they may or may not tow your car per contract. It's not first time my car been looked at real hard. Can't tow a U Haul taking up serval parking spots, parked side ways in front of an apartment building or other double parked vehicles however per maintenance men that are a 24/7 service and having theirs and the apartments, contract they will tow a car, double parked, in a snow covered parking lot where lines can barley be seen, away from all other parked cars. Fun fact, they pick and choose who they tow because my neighbors have double parked in front of our building and this tow company has not touched their car. 🙄🤨. I do think it is because I am white that they only seeked out my van and argued a ridiculous 'traffic violation'. They need a man to intimidate a angry female asking receptionist questions about their job and their contract with the apartments. Good luck. **Watch my review is gonna get a snide response.** Update: The black SUV notorious for double parking. The silver car is currently double parked but I guarantee you it will not get towed, it will be there tomorrow in the same exact spot. But mine got towed in a snowy parking lot. Smh.
I have this company out at my trailer park and I haven't seen them out there at all we have vehicles parking everywhere. I will not recommend this company. I am going to see if my trailer park can get crow tow at least they will do something
Joke of a tow service , funny how half the reviews or the ones that put the company in good light it doesn’t bring to light the illegal predatory towing aspect that these tow companies are doing,, we need to get this crap under control with regulated fees and legal rights thru legislation., Capitol city ,, crow tow , your days are numbered.
Towed my vehicle last night from the old Des Moines train station. When I called last night for the reason why. I got after midnight they tow away for the farmer's market. Which that was not properly signed. Most spots in that area have no signs notifying people or the signs are mostly destroyed. I only found 1 that was in tacked far from where I parked at. When picking up my vehicle. I was then told it was towed for unauthorized parking. Very shade and predatory practices. City of Des Moines should be ashamed for having a contract with this company to rip off their citizens.
Highly recommend! Prompt service, waited 30 minutes, Tim was very courteous and speedy. Office personnel were very professional and nice. If your needing a tow contact Capitol City Towing.

I needed a tow and selected these guys completely randomly from the list of tow services in the area - super glad I did. Claude responded quickly. He is very friendly, and was extremely cautious about getting my car on and off of the truck without scraping the ground. I will definitely call again if I ever need a tow in the future.

Needed my car towed after battery died while being at work. Called a few other towing places, they promised to come but never showed up, probably because some of them said my car is “too low to tow”. After spending and wasting almost four hours, I found about Elite Towing on Google search. Driver is very nice guy, knows everything about his job and he had all necessary equipment to put my car on the flatbed even it’s little bit lower than most cars. I am very satisfied with the service and I highly recommend Elite Towing if anyone needs that kind of service.

Called them and their price for a two block tow was too high and then they gave excuses that their trucks gel up due to the heating up process. Got my car home by myself in below freezing temperatures. Bottom line if your a tow company your issues with your engines shouldn't be my problem in an emergency and I shouldn't have to pay for that. I wouldn't even put one star on this rating but I had to in order for this to post. For the record, this place sucks and deserves no stars....

Found them just by searching Google, they quoted me a price, came within the time period stated (actually early), brought my vehicle home, and the price was exactly what I was quoted. If I'm being honest, because of experiences in the past with other companies, I was expecting none of the things I listed above to turn out favorably. I was wrong, and wish I could be proven wrong like this way more often.
Truck broke down on the side of the road and they had a truck there in no time but I ended up fixing the truck myself and not needing a tow still a great service to use highly recommend

Mid Iowa Towing picked up my daughter's car after her accident, stored it over the weekend until we could get her property out of it, and then delivered it to the scrap yard for us. Austin was courteous and helpful and the terms were fair. I hope I don't need them again soon, but I'm glad to have met them.
Hired them to tow a car for me. I was told they would be here around noon on Saturday, never showed up. I called back on Sunday, was told they forgot about me and would be right out, that was several hours ago. I do not recommend this using this business if you can avoid it.
They are very rude, purposely would not release my car so they would be able to charge me for three extra days....not even though I had my only child, my son, who recently passed away at 27 unexpectedly, we had his graveside service the following day, they wouldnt even let me get any of my property out of it. I had to borrow a vehicle.to get to the service, unbelievable!!!! Made an appointment (due to COVID19) and then they didnt show up on time, had me waiting 45 minutes and then called the police because my friend told him $363 was outrageous for a 5 mile tow. Lied to police and said my friend pushed him. Just very unpleasant and unprofessional. This was a plain case of price gouging, in my opinion. Wish them the best but would never use them.
No issues, needed them this morning, Mike was there within about thirty minutes, very professional, got my car loaded up and delivered to the repair center and then was able to drop me off at my home.

Great well organized. Just not handicapped accessible for wheel chairs to the bathroom. I came an bought a car from the auction!
Completely belligerent and hostile front desk worker over being unfamiliar with how tow lots work. I had taken two steps towards the lot to see if my car was in fact actually towed here and that I had the correct place, when the woman at the front desk comes out screaming the rules at me. I simply asked her a question and she claims I started yelling, then slams the door in my face. I attempted to deescalate several times in the office, but this individual had too much pride and wrongful conviction to deescalate with me and instead continues being incredibly disrespectful towards a paying (obligatory) customer. I would highly recommend getting a friendlier or even just a not outright nasty individual to greet customers in a healthy and positive manner, rather than immediately being suspicious and hostile towards two young individuals that clearly aren’t trying to get away with anything and simply are unfamiliar with tow lots. Seems to be the manager’s wife. Look out if she’s working.
Jeff was absolutely a life saver! I was stuck on the side of the road 700 miles from home solo as a 17 year old. My fuel pump had went out on my truck and I really needed to get to a mechanic. My phone was about to die and I wouldn’t have been able to call an Uber in time. Without him I would’ve been stuck 15 miles or more from my hotel at the mechanics with a dead phone and it would’ve been dark. I can’t thank him enough. He did everything to make sure I had what I needed.
One of your supervisors was a tremendous help to us today. My son was in a bad accident and totaled his car. Jesus was looking out for him. Thankfully he is okay. I nor my wife have ever been in vehicular accidents so this is very new to us. Your supervisor, Garrett, explained how to handle our insurance moving forward and gave us very good insight. My son was crying when he saw his car today. Your supervisor comforted him and got us both to laugh by the time we were leaving. He displayed deep care and compassion, like we were talking to a family member. We want to extend the largest gratitude to him. God bless this gentleman!
