Merl's towing did a good job towing my vehicle to where I wanted it to go. Great communication and service from the moment I called them all the way through the payment process. They did not damage my vehicle in anyway and were the best in town for pricing. Would highly recommend to use them.

Super seamless, professional service both on the phone and in person. Needed my car towed GR to holland on a Sunday and they came in about 10-15 minutes. Super quick and easy and just overall great service.
I unfortunately crashed my car into a ditch at 1am, and it obviously needed to be towed out. My immediate worry was how am I gonna afford an after hours tow bill. But I swallowed my worry and called grand valley towing. They showed up promptly, the man who was there Eric was so kind and understanding. He towed my car out promptly and even checked if it was drivable for me ( it was thankfully ) And then the part I dreaded came. Payment. When he told me it was only gonna be $150, I cried there was no after hours charge just charge for the towing. His service and kindness were immaculate. I recommend grand valley towing if you want quick efficient reliable and affordable service!
The dispatcher was extremely prompt, kind and professional and gave me all the information I needed to have my car towed. The driver was very kind and detail oriented and made sure he got my car and keys and kept me in communication the whole time while picking up and dropping off my car. Rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend them!
Dispatch was very helpful. Once I told them where I was broken down at she said she would get someone to me asap, as it was an unsafe area to be during rush hour traffic. The driver called me immediately to let me know he was on his way. Was there within 1/2 hour of me calling them. Very professional, and prompt. My safety was a priority. Grand Valley Towing was a godsend. My daughter‘s car died on the side of the highway and the were prompt and responding and dispatching a driver to tow the car. The driver was an excellent communicator and very compassionate about the situation. I was shocked at how reasonable the price was given it was a weekend and an urgent situation. I am a very satisfied customer and will definitely use them again.

The most personable staff and reliable service. I was rescued when my rental car broke down (no help from Avis) They even came out at midnight to get the handicap placard out of the rental car that I had forgotten to take out. I highly recommend this company 👌
Did a great job towing and handled the variables quickly and proficiently. He was polite and helpful. The price was reasonable for having to take it across town, too. They showed up fairly quicly at the exact minute they estimated, 35 minutes. It was Saturday late afternoon. The address they took from us was recorded wrong for some reason, but the tech who was sent out called ahead when he saw it didn't seem right and got the correct address so there was no delay. Overall, we are satisfied with their service.
Needed my electric vehicle to be towed to the service center an hour away from my home. Mike called ahead of time and confirmed all the info. Arrived promptly, took excellent care of my vehicle. Even called after to verify that my vehicle was unloaded safely. Fabulous customer service and care. I will recommend personally and professional!

I've never used them before today and they were absolutely the best! They responded to me immediately, came out quickly and the price was great. The man that came out (Dylan) did a fantastic job. He had the best personality and you could tell he really cared about doing a good job and he enjoyed doing it. He even sent me a confirmation message when my car was delivered to the repair shop. Excellent service! Holly was there 20 minutes early, which is great when you’re waiting on the side of the road! She was quick to get my car loaded up and since we were a mile away from from where I was going she stopped there so I could pick up my package. I will definitely request ProAm again. Highly recommend!!
My vehicle had a power steering leak and I needed a tow up to my local mechanic. When I call for a tow through my auto insurance they manage finding the tow company who's available (so I don't know what company they'll send). Today they sent Holly from My ProAm Towing. Upon arrival I immediately smiled because I had never had female tow truck driver! I felt so comfortable with her. She showed up sooner than I expected and began asking about what's going on with the vehicle. She visited with my dog and we chatted while she loaded up. She made me feel better by calmly asking about the dog or the car which was appreciated because vehicle issues stress me out. She was professional and got the job done quickly. Thank you Holly!

We had to get our car towed over to a mechanic shop, and Beltline Towing arrived shortly after making the request through our insurance. The driver named Grant was out here working in the rain tonight, and despite some issues with the car being lower and the hooks snagging on his ramp, he remained cool, calm and collect. He explained the issue that was occurring and told us he was sorting it out. After a few minutes, he got it on the truck and we were on our way to the mechanic shop. He was a professional through and through, and we really appreciated his demeanor. Great experience with these guys!
Chris helped me out when I was in a pinch this morning! He was very quick and got my car to the mechanic in less than 30 minutes and under $100 which is all you can ask for

The company has an aggressive tow truck driver. He tailgated me all the way from Cascade and Thornapple River Dr, to Thornapple River Dr and 36th St. This was on 5/15/25 around 6pm. There were a number of times I thought he was going to cause an accident by rear-ending me. I was also concerned as my 5-year-old was in the back seat. I was behind a slower vehicle the entire way, so I couldn’t go faster and this clearly upset him. When he was finally able to turn, he flipped me off. Please do not use this company.
I was recently in an auto accident and the police called these guys.. the driver was QUICK to get there and to get the cars loaded and out of traffic. Afterwards when I spoke to the driver about what to do with my car he was incredibly kind and helpful..Even asking how I was (like a concerned friend or family member would) ..I would HIGHLY recommend them..
Very speedy to get to Kent isd from downtown grand rapids. My car broke down 18 miles from where I needed to get it to and they got it there quick and cheap. I would reccomend this place to all my family.
I recently locked my keys in my truck and they sent a driver by the name of Mike who showed up in a timely manner of just under 30 minutes and had my truck unlocked within three minutes of him arriving. Chop came out and knew what my issue was right away once I told him and I ended up not even needing a tow. He could have just not said anything, did the tow and went about his way but he saved me a ton! Greatly appreciate him for that!

What a great group of folks. First they worked hard with me on the phone to try and resolve the issue without having to charge me...then, when they did have to come out, they were there in 15 minutes, went out of their way to make sure my wife didn't have to get dirty pushing a car, and resolved my situation quickly and completely. Thank you very much for helping me move my camper to a safe place!

I live and work at Exodus Place and had to call Hermitage towing a couple times and the dispatcher says they don't have any drivers available til morning and yet the website says they are open 24/7 but no drivers are available how do you run a 24 hour towing service with no drivers available until morning
Called to get a quote to have my car towed to a shop the guy who answered was super rude definitely would never do business here and don’t recommend anybody else either

Tony showed up like a hero on Memorial Day - we were on our way to camping and had a full car and our dog, and our engine sputtered and stopped in a construction zone south of Grand Rapids. He recommended a local shop, got them on the phone (even though they were closed for the holiday), and got us there. We were so grateful, as AAA was not having luck finding someone to take us and our dog along. Thanks so much to Tony and J's towing for the friendly and prompt service, and helping us out in an unsafe situation!!
the people who run this company are incompetent slimeballs who tried to extort my boyfriend for $130 even though he had a parking pass for the apartment complex he was towed from. they are the lowest of the low. i would give zero stars if it was possible. i seriously do not know how it is possible that so much common sense was lacking in this entire situation. it’s completely ridiculous.
J’s tow truck blocking the road next to the shop on my way home from work. I can see a minute or 2 but not 10. Rude!
Stay FAR AWAY From this place… I had gotten into an accident recently and while tow driver came out quick, he said the company didn’t take insurance and I had to pay out of pocket right then and there. $400… to bring it a few miles down the road back to j’s Towing. He refused to bring it to a repair shop that was closer than his ship because I wouldn’t pay out of pocket. I had to literally argue with him and threaten to take legal action before he “realized” he can take my car back and have my insurance pay for it. J’s Towing is a rip off as well. They charged my insurance company $880 dollars just to bring it back to their shop… no including “overnight storage”. They also charged my insurance company again for bringing to the repair shop I wanted to bring it to, to begin with… Another $150… over $1000 for a tow less than 5 miles total drive?? This company should not be in business. They are crooks. Go to Grand Valley Towing. They are better service and better price.
J’s Towing has been avoiding me after they damaged my basketball hoop in my driveway. I specifically asked them to bring a wheel lift tow truck as my truck was in the garage but they brought a flat bed anyway. I figured they know what they are doing more than I would. Well, they ended up hitting and bending my basketball hoop which was less than a year old. All good, accidents happen and I truly felt bad for the nice young man that did it. However, I expected the company to rectify the damage they caused or at least communicate with me to see what could be done. The dispatch lady was nice as well, but the owner not once returned a call or responded to an email after I was told he would. This is poor service and I advice not to utilize this company as there are plenty of others who I’m sure would take responsibility if they made a mistake.

Tricia is very nice and helpful! They helped us set trusses last year for a pole barn build we were hired to do. We will be using them in the next couple of weeks and they are the only crane company in Grand Rapids and surround areas I would use! Highly recommend them!
