I called and talked with Shawn. I told him that i had a semi truck broke down in the travel lanes of 495 near Tysons Corner just outside of DC. within ten minutes of our phone call the wrecker was already there to help the driver and tow the truck. very professional and outstanding service. they gave me a fair rate and towed the vehicle to my mechanic in Baltimore. i highly recommend this company to anyone in the area. thanks again Shawn.

My truck broke down while driving on Rolling Road, right in the middle of traffic. We called Advance because they were the first place that popped up with good ratings. They definitely earned those ratings! Dispatch said they would have a driver to us within 30 minutes. I might have been closer to 45, but I used to run a tow company in NY, so 15 minutes longer is much better than an hour plus! Desmond was great - friendly and very knowledgeable about his job. I have made a post about these guys once, but ima do it again they were phenomenal they were here early, not too early, but early they had the truck on the bed and ready to go in under 10 minutes again. Clean pick up and drop off. No damage was done, and it was a good price for good work. 10/10 recommend

Manny was very professional and arrived in the estimated time, as soon as I told him what my car was doing he told me what he thought it was. When we got to my house he looked under the hood and the problem was what he suspected, he showed me, told me how to fix it and I was able to fix it myself the next day, saving me probably a couple hundred dollars or more at a shop. I definitely recommend them.

Every tow company in town either put me on hold or told me it would take an hour... and I was stuck in the middle of a busy street! I called Big Boys, and they were there in FIVE MINUTES!!! Super fast. Super nice, and they had the best price out of all of them! Needless to say, the next time shenanigans befall me, I will call Big Boys first!
Makayla quoted me on a towing price & told me that I could decide if I wanted to get a tow through them after I called a few places. I decided to go with a cheaper company but Big Boys showed up first, without calling in advance, and it had been about an hour since I called originally. She told me she could have them drop my car back off and I could recall the other company. Terrible customer service and attitude from Makayla after she made the mistake. The man who towed my car was very kind and I’m thankful the company worked with me on price, but the lack of communication and Makayla are the reasons I won’t use this company again.
Used Big Boy towing to move a vehicle from one shop to another. Made all the arrangements over the phone. Customer service was outstanding. Payment was easy via Square. Highly recommend!
My car broke down and the company was very punctual. Josh called me almost immediately after I placed the call for a tow and provided me with an eta. While waiting I realized I was accross the street from an auto zone so I went and purchased a battery. I was getting ready to install it when Josh arrived and offered to help in any way he could. Offering tools, and extra pair of hands, or whatever i needed. After the installation of the battery my car started and he cheered that I got it working. He wasn't upset that I no longer needed the tow and gave me a Keychain for future reference. People like Josh is what brings people back to businesses. If I need a tow in the future I'll be sure to call this company.

I have never met such a nice and helpful tow truck driver in my life. Not only did he have no problem towing my car from a really inconvenient parking garage, but he also filled up my flat tires and tried to jump the car first to try and save me some money. Francisco came to our rescue at 1:30 am when our car unexpectedly got a flat o. i91 in Chicopee. After picking up our car, He stayed with us while we tried to get an Uber, which we couldn’t do at that hour in Chicopee! Francisco offered to give the three of us and two dogs a ride to a local hotel before dropping off our car at a tire center. He was amazing! Super kind, very professional. Highly recommend.

Great service! I went through my insurance who sent out a tow truck to which the driver took 45 minutes and never got my car unlocked. Called ASAP a guy named Moe showed up and within 2 minutes max I was in my car!!! He also provided me the information to be refunded by my insurance while assuring me if he didn't get it open I would not be charged. I give ASAP Towing 5 stars.
I was very frustrated at first when I’m on the middle of the highway with my break fail. Then I call for tow. It was very fast. The was who tow my car was very nice person very frank and very helpful his name is Adeel. He take me to car shop to fix my car and give me suggestion about it which was very helpful. After my car broke down on my way home from work, I reached out to Peter(Owner), also known as Mr. Ritter Peña. He was the second person I called, and I’m so glad I did. As soon as I explained my situation and told him where I was, he assured me he’d be there within 30 minutes. True to his word, Peter arrived promptly, loaded up my vehicle with care, and drove me to the mechanic shop. What really stood out was his kindness—he went the extra mile by offloading my car and parking it exactly where I requested. That small gesture meant a lot to me, especially during a stressful moment. On top of his professionalism and courtesy, the pricing he offered was far more reasonable than what I had been quoted elsewhere. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. My car was stolen and Mike Phillips was the tow truck that showed up to the location it was left and did everything he could to get it out. He was able to get it out of the massive mud rut that it was left in.
Called them to get a quote and they just took it upon themselves to go get the car. Cops told us since we called them that it was now a civil issue. If you call these guys for a quote do yourself a favor and don’t tell them exactly where the car is until you plan to hire them. Plenty of other honest towing companies around though. I would avoid these guys
My SUV died on a cold night at a busy intersection. I received a very quick response when I called for service plus they showed up on site quickly as well. Drew was courteous, professional, and genuinely a nice person! Would definitely use again. Thanks Drew for making a stressful experience a little easier.
Worst experience with a towing company. Called for a tow was placed on hold then hung up on.After calling them back the man was very unprofessional when I asked how much was tow in town he stated $70. I asked if rates had gone up he told me duh because price of gas. When driver Brian showed up he literally almost hit me while I was standing on corner to flag him. He never stopped to greet or confirm vehicle for pick up. He immediately tried to squeeze bye the vehicle hitting the side of it and damaging a fence. I could have informed him that he could have came from other side to avoid this accident from happening. I called back to office to let them know what happened was hung up on again. Had to call police have them come out. Driver Brian admitted to hitting fence said I was lying about my car being hit. Very unprofessional and rude. Called another company they came quick picked up car with no issues
Our 1961 Shasta had the wheel fall off on rt 44 late on a Friday afternoon. I called half a dozen emergency tow services and they all said they couldn't tow our trailer, but recommended Affordable in Springfield. Affordable said they would send a Roll-up right away. Jonathan called soon after and said he was returning from another tow and was in the area. He came quickly and repaired the wheel enough so as but to damage the trailer while it was being pulled up on the flat bed. He towed it back to Springfield to a repair facility. I highly recommend this company and their driver Jonathan.

I blew out my back tire on my 98 Honda Valkyrie on a long 4,000 mile trip from Indiana to Sturgis, SD...and on the way home back through MO...BAM! We were stranded on I-44, and these guys were there quickly, and treated my motorcycle with extreme care! They even helped me find the best shop to fix the bike locally, and helped us find a motel for the night...even kept my bike in a safe location under lock & key so it wouldn't get stolen! scamming people by charging over $300 to get their car back that they tow off out of the lot of a parking garage. never in my life have i heard of a tow company charging that much to get their car back, slimy & predatory business.

We requested towing several times, and the company assured us they were coming but have never done so. the customer service really sucks, and we have never received a follow up from any of our calls explaining and issue with coming or not be able to do so. its very immature and unprofessional to treat valuable customers like this. along with all the negative other reviews, we will not be acquiring the services of this towing company again.
They were supposed to pick up a car I was selling through peddle. They couldn't pick it up the day it was scheduled to be picked up because they said they didn't have room on their flat bed. So they asked me if I could reschedule so I did for the next day which was a friday. I got a no show no call from them on friday. I called Saturday to find out what happened the guy was so rude and unprofessional. The people that are at this company need training in time management and customer service. I called peddle and they sent me though another tow company to sell my car instead.Awful experience with brooks towing. Don't waste your time go somewhere else.

I was fortunate to be able to use brooks the other day. They came out promptly and picked up 2 vehicles I no longer needed and the owner was easy to get ahold of and answered all my questions and even though I missed the first meeting he sent out another driver right away, Joey arrived right on time and was very friendly and made the process seemless. I will recommend Brooks from now on.

These people are thieves, they towed my truck and they didn't even call my company after towing till I went to grab my license, that's when I found out. $1851 .10 for bobtail. 12 miles total. I found out 1 signal light was not working they were busy denying that they didn't touch it. Have been towed before for 20 miles with a loaded trailer for $800. Don't even truck to bother calling them if u break down. They're crooks cowards
My car was towed by CJ's at the Springfield Police Department's request after an accident on August 8, 2024. CJ's treated us courteously and professionally. Before towing from the accident scene, the tow driver allowed me to take extra time to search for a missing item in my car. When I called CJ's the next morning to ask for the release procedure, I was given an accurate price and clear instructions. When I went to get my car the next morning, they processed me in about 15 minutes. I then had my car towed to a nearby collision repair center. CJ's price for that second tow was the lowest compared to 2 other local towing companies. They even let me get a couple of items from my car before the tow to the collision repair center. I was pleased with the experience with CJ's, especially considering that I had not chosen CJ's when my car was initially towed.
This is absolutely a rip-off company unfortunately partnered with Springfield Police department. My car blew a head gasket Literally 0.3 miles from my mom's home. My car was still drivable and I could have easily driven it down the street. As an out-of-town visitor Springfield Police department dispatch this company 2 tow my car even though I had AAA. I had no choice. They charged me $205 to tow it 1/2 block. Then threatened to keep my car because I disputed them for charging me for 12 miles instead of the 0.3 miles that they actually towed me.. the driver told me that they charge the mileage based on where they came from to pick me up and to where they would have to drive back to. The driver was Billy badass knowing that he had my car hooked up and I could not do anything about it with the police being there so I was basically strong-armed to pay on site or have my car towed to their garage at a 35.00 a day storage plus mileage
Very disappointed with the service. The"lady" at the front desk was very rude and had the nerve to very sarcastically ask my husband if he even had $ to get his car out of the lot. His car was stolen and he never got a call notifying him that they had the car and in just less than 3 hours we owed two storage days. Smh I hope we never have to deal with them again.
Hello everyone, I want to talk about the Definition of GREAT customer service. My family had a car towed by CJ's towing and it was a nightmare. We encountered Helen Wetmore at the customer service window, she not only allowed me to vent but she remained calm professional and extremely empathetic to our situation. She continued reassuring my parents and I that we had her and CJ's support if I had any questions or if I needed guidance regarding next steps. I have not had alot of experience with towing services but in a time where people have forgotten how to treat people with respect and speak to customers with kindness and dignity, Helen's customer service skills were exemplary and on full display today. Helen has renewed my faith in what customer service should and can be in the face of adversity. Helen, while I may not know you personally you define professionalism and are the example and highest standard of what customer service should be. I am lucky to have encountered you today and CJ's is very lucky to have employees like you there. Thank you for making a very unpleasant experience worth enduring and making CJ's a place worth doing business with.
