Muhammad was very kind and helpful I was scared when my car suddenly died and I was stranded in the smoke and after calling a bunch of tow companies American Eagle was the only one to respond and help. I appreciated Muhammad coming out and being comforting as he took my car to the shop and dropped me off back at my home. This was a wonderful experience and was not expensive at all I would highly suggest American Eagle Towing and if I need a tow I know who I am calling first.
It was a very good experience all around he made sure I felt comfortable after allowing mme to ride with him when I had no extra form of transportation. He was very courteous and his customer service was the best I've ever had, Muhammad was passionate about his work and and was great all around.

Excellent towing service. Mahamed was professional, friendly, patient and helpful. My car was not directly accessible to the tow truck and Mahamed did not hesitate to offer to push the car. He was also very patient and careful with unloaded the car. 10/10 would recommend his services and will be going back if (or more likely when) I need a tow again!

I have read the news article, and if I could rate this company 10 stars, I would. Not long ago my car could not start at the gas station. I was calling around for someone to help me and get it started. I had gotten myself into such a tight spot all I needed was jump, but I could not even afford that. Jessica had a driver who was actually just 2 or 3 minutes away. She asked him to come over and jump the vehicle for me. Jesse came out jumped it and was incredibly kind and helpful. I've been a repeat customer ever since, and I never use anybody but them anymore. the dispatch crew has been awesome Brandy, who has been great, and Troy, who arrived when I needed to get towed exceeded expectations. I hope people read the positive comments and understand that most of the negative ones likely come from people who havent even used them Elite Towing helped me, and I can imagine of no better way that I can repay their good deed. Elite towing was absolutely amazing, my silly self locked my keys in the trunk of the car. About 1.5 hours from Portland and they were able to help me. amazing service from the start with the representative assigning the tow truck to Mat that showed up to help with unlocking the vehicle, everyone was so nice and helpful! I have left my info twice when I called to whoever answered for there boss to call me back to schedule a time for me to get my belongings and never heard back. My girlfriend has called and emailed them explaining her heart medication was in the car and never heard back. When I called back for the 5th time they told me it would be $200 to get my stuff cause it's been over 25 days when I been patiently waiting for them to contact me and they never did. They just want to nickle and dime you any way they can. It's devasting enough to have your car towed and not be able to afford the cost which is more than the car but when your childrens things and medication and other items are inside that is a fina blow. if I could leave no stars I would.
I recently had to use Elite when my vehicle broke down. From the moment I called, the dispatcher was incredibly helpful and reassuring. The tow truck arrived much faster than I expected, and the drive was professional, courteous, and clearly skilled. He handled my car with care and got it safely to the repair shop. I highly recommend their services 🙌🏻
Prices are NOT transparent and are outrageous and expensive, $270 for a tow that wasn’t even a mile and a half. Then on top of that if your car touches there yard it’s another $250. Customer service energy is an all time low they don’t give you any info they’d rather just charge you more hidden fees. I would not trust this company with your property.

Great service every time I use Gerlock. Much better than other towing companies I have used in the past. Some companies I have used act like they have been doing me a favor When I use their service; especially the drivers. Gerlock genuinely cares about their clients and the business they receive from them. Both dispatch and drivers are awesome. I highly recommend them.
I have never had a bad experience with Gerlock. They have always been helpful with any issues I've had with my companies trucks whether it's been a breakdown an accident or just drivers getting themselves in situations the couldn't get out of. Othe companies I've dealt with I've had to have drivers wait several hours for assistance. Gerlach has always been able to make themselves available within a short time. They are my go to with any tow needs my company has needed. I highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance.

A breakdown requiring a tow is never an enjoyable experience but this company is good. Dispatch is on the job and their drivers know their equipment and the DOT procedures to get you off the side the road safely.

Definitely reccomend! Anyone else would’ve struggled to get my big lifted truck that wasn’t able to turn onto their truckbed.. Randy was extremely knowledgable and efficient.
My car battery died last week and my insurance company kept delaying my tow requests for two days straight! I called Hercules Towing and Randy had my car to the shop within an hour! He was timely, friendly and beyond helpful! If I ever need car services again, he’ll be the one I call!

We got stuck in Troutdale with our 36’ fleet wood motorhome and out of the 17 businesses we called, Portland City Towing were the only ones willing to help and they didn’t charge a ridiculous price, even on a Sunday. They were extremely fast, efficient, professional and affordable. I would 100% recommend them without hesitation. They made a 3 day nightmare come to an end and I will always be grateful to them for their help and professionalism.
My car broke down on Highway 205 near Sandy Blvd in Portland, Oregon. I called Portland City Towing and they arrived within 15 minutes. After calling a few towing companies, they gave me the best price in town and took great care of my vehicle. I highly recommend them.

Very happy with this company! They were able to make it to my location within half an hour of calling them and the tow service was very reasonably priced. Overall it was easy since my car didn’t have to be towed that far to the mechanic’s, but he was very nice and even called to let me know when he had dropped off the car. Was quick and easy but I guess I must have misheard the person, I thought it was 75 for a battery jump, not 175. That's pretty steep, otherwise good.
I am very pleased with my experience with Speed’s. I received exceptional customer service from both of the female dispatchers (I spaced their names) and also the driver, Mercury! I called for a jump start due to a bad battery. After Mercury got my car running, he followed me to the shop to make sure I made it there ok. How wonderful is that! Thank you so much!
Tim was awesome to us this morning towing our car! He did a wonderful job getting my car safely on the truck and he was faster than we had thought he would be getting to the place I broke down. He was a new driver. He had to call boss on how to pull me out of Railroad Rock that they put down next tracks. He did good - he was bery nerves I use to work for a out fit who used Speedy all time. I liked your crew . Shlly Sibert PS Driver was a great backer up driver too. Only problem I had - he left his backup lights on as we were pulling out. Hard to see where I was going.
While it was very expensive, customer service was absolutely excellent. Chris the driver, was extremely personable and dispatch as well as Chris were very easy to talk and professional.

I got a tow for my oversized van last night after calling a number of places for an estimate. I went with zee because the price was the best. It ended up being a lot more work for him than I thought it would be but he was super good natured about it. He got the job done better than expected and was really pleasant, friendly, and easy to work with. I usually never write reviews but I really appreciate how much he went out of his way to help me out.

First of all on the day of my accident I called to ask about my car and yes I made sure I had the correct number and place when I called. I talked to a lady who quoted me $309 the first day and every day it was kept there it would be an extra $32. I’ve never been in an accident before but I should have known better. I didn’t end up picking up my car until another two days later and these scammers charged me over $1500. When I went in to just go in the see my car and get some stuff the lady and driver were super rude and they’re liars. If they’re reading this… LEARN TO HAVE SOME COMPASSION FOR YOUR FELLOW HUMAN. I understand it’s your job but at least be nice. And I don’t want a “sincere apology” statement I just wanted to be treated honestly and fairly I hope you all change your ways. Anyways upon checking and doing some math they were over charging me and on the form they claimed to have driven 400 miles to come get my car which was a lie and they charge $1 per mile. That’s an extra $400 . When I went in to talk about it the driver and lady who was super rude said “oh we didn’t even notice both of us didn’t notice” . Then they refunded me on 310 and ended up fixing it but found a way to charge me for something else claiming they had to take some bike routes but that amount wasn’t in the original statement. They’re scammers and they feed off the already broken situations people are in. Their greed is insane and should go find God so they can change their ways.
I had really good experience with northwestern towing they are very punctual and helpful. Specifically Miky and Eric saves my life. I want to say thank you from my bottom of heart!! BLESSINGS!!
Naythin Fahey was extremely professional and proficient. He was able to get my daughter’s car off the rocks in under 30 minutes. He was on time and was great about letting us know when he was on his way and when he was 5 minutes out. I highly recommend this company if the rest of their employees are as great as Naythin.
These folks were amazing. Russell was my primary contact when my company had to rent a space for my trailer while my truck was in a nearby shop. Easy to get a tractor and trailer into. The "twins" were a true delight to chat with, but Russell was A FREAKING AWESOME guy. If you ever need any kind of roadside service, these guys are the best there is.
The breaks went out in my truck and I ended up in a nearly impossible situation and these guys spent over 3 hours in the rain towing out my rig and driving it a 1/2 hour home. They made a terrible situation a tolerable situation! I recommend this crew for all your towing needs

This company is contracted with my insurance company. They were assigned to come tow my vehicle and never showed up. I scheduled the tow for later and was assured a driver would be there within 15 minutes more than once. They ended up not showing for that tow either and I had to go with another company.
Courtney K. Is my guardian angel! I got stuck trying to get to my work in the snow and ice and she just happened by in her tow truck. Set an appointment to have car towed. They sent me a text saying they’d be 15 minutes late. Was driving there and they called me at my original pick up time, missed the call and called back 2 mins later. They cancelled my tow and were rude and condescending to me when I asked why they would say they were gonna be 15 mins late and then call at the original time. Had to wait 2 hours for next truck. Avoid at all costs if you don’t want to waste time and deal with terrible customer service

Progressive Roadside Assistance connected me with Forward Towing when my control arm joint broke following a poor repair. Munib arrived quickly and was friendly and professional. It took some extra work and creativity to unload my car at the shop without a working front tire, but he got the job done with excellent service!
I highly recommend Forward Towing. They were fast, efficient and great communicators. I had such a good experience working with DJ during an extremely stressful car breakdown on the side of the highway. He was flexible, caring and went out of his way to tow my car during terrible holiday/rush hour traffic all while calmly navigating incorrect information from my insurance company. Today 05/30/24. My Toyota Tacoma had a 50% Power loss on I-5 North in what I would say a dangerous area just in front of the Moda center exit. Forward Towing is who my insurance company suggested and uses. Not to mention they are a AAA partner as well. Fawad showed up in a timely manner, a little quicker than the ETA I was given. He risked his safety to hook up my vehicle quickly. (My truck was close to the white shoulder line and no one moves over for tow trucks anymore) The drive back to my residence in Vancouver went smoothly. The customer service he provided went above and beyond. Forward towing is definitely going to be my first call if I ever need another tow in the future. If I could give them 10 stars I would. So helpful and friendly. The driver (I didn't get her name) was very professional and super nice and we had a nice conversation. The price was about what I expected. $259 for the first 10 miles then $6 a mile after. They were upfront and didn't seem to try to scam and take advantage of the situation.
Was Tboned this morning and had to get my car towed home, the officers called out Newhouse Towing for me and must say the Driver Berto was top notch and skilled cause he had to hook up in a funky spot then backed down my long driveway to parking spot when he dropped it off. Definitely has the skills and him chatting with me along the way helped calm me down and even had me laughing by the time we got to drop off my ride. Will definitely keep their card for any future needs and highly recommend them for any of yours.

Ran into a huge inconvenience with a severely flat tire, went onto to Google to see what I could find since it was after hours. Eli's was the first to pop up in my location and I saw a 5 star under the name so I called them up. Very friendly, and compassionate over the phone and just as much so in person. If I ever need services in the future they will be the ones I call!

Sat around waiting for hours for other tow companies. I called Outlaw Towing and they answered immediately, showed up within 20 minutes, and got everything taken care of for me for a great price. I will DEFINITELY go through them if I ever need to be towed again.
I talked with these guys about coming to buy my truck as scrap. They set an appointment for 10am and didn't show until 12. Then, gave me 250 less than what they originally offered. Since I was trying to get rid of the truck I didn't argue, but after giving me the money the driver said she would be back in an hour to pick it up but never came back. Now, here I am next day, and they still haven't been back to collect the truck and have sent my calls to VM. I tried calling from my wifes phone and they answered, but when they heard my voice they immediately hung up and blocked both numbers. Beyond unprofessional!!!!!!
Requested flat bed for my Audi that had been sitting in my driveway forever! My work van broke down today on the Burnside Bridge in downtown Portland. It's a large van and I called probably 12 different tow companies before calling Van's. All of them quoted me a crazy amount for getting towed less than a mile and they all estimated that it would be multiple hours before they could get to me. Van's told me it would be an hour and quoted me the best rate out of all of them. The driver showed up in 30 minutes, which was half the time they had told me, and had the van hooked up and ready in probably 2 minutes. The driver was super friendly, extremely professional, and got the van and myself back to my shop in no time. I was extremely impressed and highly recommend these guys to anyone and everyone that needs towing in Portland. If the situation ever arises where I need a tow again, this will be the company that gets my business every single time.
Worst U haul location in the country. Very unprofessional, dismissive and they ARE NOT open 24h. Beware of them. UPDATE: I wash charged by this location for 150$ cleaning fee. Clearly a scam, DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS WITH THEM.
Super easy to schedule online and the people at the front desk were super nice. It was easy to pick up our U-Haul and return it! We would definitely rent from here again! That being said, it being our first time renting a U-Haul, there are some fees we did not expect. U-Haul online said it was $29.95 to rent the 15’ truck for 6 hours, but there are other fees like a ‘rental tax’ that was $12.59 we didn’t know about and a few small others. Our total for the day, for a local move, ended up being $93 with the rental charge, MI charge, the Safe Move, and the other fees. Still would rent from this specific place again, super easy and nice people!
Keys were locked in my car last night so I called this place. I was at the Laquinta Inn across the street. They wanted to charge me $400 for them to cross the street. Said it was "labor" and for the drive. Across the street. Plus it was going to take 40 minutes. Busting my window and replacing it would cost me half the price. Called Ilan lock & key. Guy was there in twenty minutes, and it was $120.

Worst customer service in the world. Read the other 100 comments about the dispatcher/receptionist. I’ve never seen a more hated woman in the Portland community. If you do make the unfortunate mistake to call, for safety purposes I would record it. I’m shocked they are still in business considering one singular woman has tanked the whole company.
I had them tow my car to the shop a while back and everything went fine until they charged my card. I called the office to get a receipt so that I could get reimbursed through my car insurance and never could get one even though I called multiple times and was always told that someone would call me back. Then when I checked my credit card statement it turned out that they had double charged me. I tried to call in three different times to have them reverse the charge and again got the run around every time before I finally gave up and disputed the charge through my credit card company. I would not use them again.
This is the worst company to do business with, terrible customer service from Shellie Smith. After expressing my concern about the invoice I received, she became aggressive then stating that I was the one being aggressive. I let her know all I wanted to do is pay the invoice and move on and never use their company again. Their tow man JB B absolutely did nothing except guide our manager on where to try and go, which we didn't need that kind of help. Charging $230 for guidance seems a little much. Then she sends me an email demanding payment after I told her I wasn't going to allow her to talk to me the way she did.
Locked keys in the car, they didn't have any driver's available, but since it didn't need a truck, the manager drove out himself and was there in 15 minutes! He was very careful opening the door which was definitely appreciated. I had a good experience.
Shelly in dispatch was extremely rude. She basically told me I would not be getting my car back and hung up on me a number of times. I had to call the lot manager of another location to learn where my car was. When I asked him how I could retrieve it, he told me I had to "bite the bullet, and call Shelly back." When I arrive at the lot, the gate was open and unguarded. It took them nearly an hour to meet me at the location and an additional 30 minutes to print my receipt. I feel extremely bad for the person who has to deal with them next.

They deserve a zero. Yes my husband parked my car in the wrong spot and without a doubt we take responsibility but their customer service is a joke. They insisted we had to make an appointment to retrieve the car. They were an hour late with no apology or a heads up even though they had my number to reach me. When I asked for a discount for the inconvenience they said there was nothing they could do. I gave them the 450 cash they charged AND my ID with no hesitation and they would not release my car because we did not have proof of registration. Again, totally on us. I pushed back a little but he wasn't budging so I said I would go back to get proof of ownership and I asked for my ID and cash back and he refused. THEY called the police which seemed like an odd move considering they had my car, my money AND my ID. When the cops arrived they were rolling their eyes and laughing because I was trying to take MY car back that I had already paid the fine for. They assured him I was the owner because obviously they ran my plates but the truck driver and the owner of the company who was on the phone refused to release my car. It was absurd. Clearly it was some type of power trip. The police did tell me on the side that these businesses have horrible ethics and business practices and this particular business was no exception. They even lied about the prices. They said the state fixes the prices but there was another lady with a much bigger car who said this was the fourth time they towed her car and they only charged her 250. They released the car but with the condition that they would charge me $2 per min since the police got there even though they wasted MY time. I suppose we can hash that in civil court. This is a horrible business that doesn't know how to do business right. Kiara and the tow man were extremely unprofessional and do not know how to run a business properly. No wonder they are in THIS business. Get an education and a real career. Complete LOSERS. The owner should grow a pair and be the face of the company instead of paying other scumbags to do his dirty work. I asked for the owners number and they refused to give it to me. P.S Shout out to Tigard PD who were on-site almost immediately and did a great job of mediating the situation. As a woman of color I felt heard and respected by them.

Called and spoke with Kamal who was amazing and made me feel so much better. Set up a time and Jade came out to tow the car. Timely, personable, professional, he was great. Wonderful customer service from start to finish. I highly recommend!

Our brand new truck was towed yesterday and when we asked why, they said “failure to show trip permit” which was in the back window. We spoke with them last night and they wanted to charge almost $400 despite us only living six minutes away! They claimed it was for an “after hours” charge. We told the guy on the phone that we would be in today and when we went, we met a woman in the office who was extremely rude. When we walked in she asked, “do you have an appointment” and when we said “no we didn’t know we had to make one the person on the phone said we can just come” she laughed and said “oh, yeah I know you don’t have an appointment because I only had one for today yet I saw you guys pull in” and then said she “never answers the phone because people are rude.” Extremely condescending and then proceeded to complain about a homeless woman parked outside of their lot that she offered a FREE tow for to move her, but wants to charge us $521 when they told us yesterday it was $264 for a six minute drive. My boyfriend proceeded to show a picture of his drivers license (he lost his wallet) and then when she asked about the registration we mentioned we don’t have it yet because we just bought it a week ago, and we only have the purchase paperwork which we also had photo copy’s of. She told us she can’t accept that because of “AI these days” and didn’t help us out at all. We said that we’ll just go pick up the paperwork and she continued to ramble about nonsense. Horrible customer service. I understand people have bad days but no one wants to pay for their vehicle that’s been towed for no reason, and we were being nice and respectful the entire time.
Three times I've seen their trucks driving recklessly; a swerving blind merge onto 405 from downtown, cut off when trying to zipper on NW 14th (with a middle finger... professional), and this morning at SE Water and Clay running a stale red light. Is it just one driver doing this?

I’ll give three stars, but that’s it. My vehicle was stolen by no fault of my own in Portland. Elite towed to their yard. Strangely, they want proof of registration but most folks keep that in the car, no? So when your car is stolen, you wouldn’t have it. I also didn’t have the title, so they seemed unwilling to do anything. Then they claim they can’t deal with insurance either, so leaving me with no way to bail my car out. Then, magically, they could deal with insurance and then somehow they needed my verbal OK to release to insurance, then I could pick it up? Apparently it dawned on them to call the DMV to verify I am the registered owner; why not do that as a standard practice? Wouldn’t that make everyone’s life easier? I finally got my car, but not much thanks to Elite. I’d rather not deal with them again.

I love taking my 1970 charger out for a cruise on a nice day. However, being over 50 years old the car does have its quirks and left me stuck on I-84. Called these guys and in 20 minutes a driver was pulling up. The driver was very professional, and loaded my classic car up beautifully. Would trust these guys with any of my cars and highly recommend
$250 towing fee to hook up to my truck and then another hundred and $80 tow me one block!!
