My car unexpectedly broke down today, 3/11/25 and I needed a quick tow. I didnt know anyone so I called Coop Towing. They changed a bad experience to a Good one. They “ literally” came out in a little over an hour jumped my battery and towed my car to my mechanic. Wow , I was So impressed! I Highly Recommend Coop Towing and I was extremely satisfied. Retrieved my car from the impound. Everyone were very nice. But now my car sounds like they damaged my muffler or exhaust. It wasn't loud like that before it for towed there and also took my key off the key chain. I'm not happy with my car sounding like that at all. I can't afford to take a day off and especially to leave it there, I need my car.
I can’t say enough good things about this company! They went above and beyond to help our son. The owner personally came out to assist and tried conservative options first which I really appreciated. Excellent group of people. Professional, courteous, prompt and best prices I've found for recovery and repair so far!! I'm an owner operator who just had to use them yesterday May 5th, 2025 for a tow and if it wasn't for the fact that the part that I believe went bad in my truck was warrantied, I absolutely would've had them perform the repairs. The new shop they advertise that they have is beautiful, big and clean. Hard to beat their hourly labor price as well... lowest I've found to date across the nation.
Chris came out to fix my trailer when the landing gear wouldn’t go up. Everyone had told me it was likely going to need a full replacement, and at first, Chris thought the same. But instead of giving up, he said he wanted to check a few more things. He kept working, and eventually, he got the landing gear up and functioning, allowing me to leave with my load. That meant a lot to me—because now I can keep moving and making money. He could have just collected the fee for showing up and left, especially on a Friday, but he didn’t. He stayed until the job was done, and I truly appreciate that kind of dedication.

They had someone out same day for much less than any other towing companies in the area. Zach (Zack?) I believe was the driver for my tow on a flatbed. He pulled into our angled driveway with ease and had no trouble navigating to the drop-off. He was very polite and helpful the entire time. Would recommend!
Best pricing in Pittsburgh, about half of what I’ve paid other towing companies. They were very friendly and helpful, plus really quick response time. They completed my job right away, faster than expected. Will definitely call them over anyone else in the future!
Price: $130 from breakdown point to shop of my choice. Time: Took about an hour from call to arrival. Customer Service: Great communication, friendly, accommodating. The only criticism I have is the lack of confirmation. They use the following system to request a tow: Text a given number with your location and car type. On Stickles side, they track these texts to organize and assign trucks to customers. But, on the customer side, you get no confirmation that your text was received and your tow scheduled unless you *also* call after texting and ask. Waiting 45mins on the side of the road, hoping that your text went through isn't the most comforting situation. I would really like it if they messaged you something like, "Order received," upon receipt of your message.

I dropped my keys down a storm drain - thought this was going to be a nightmare, since my car keys are hard to make - they cost about $500 and take 2-3 days to get from the dealership. Since I was parked in a 2-hour parking zone I had no idea how many tickets that would mean. Even opening the car so I could get my garage door opener (so I could get into my home) would have sent the car into lockdown, meaning it would have to be towed to a dealership to be started again when the key came in. The gentleman from Rick Sprague, dispatched from AAA, came quickly (and it was a cold night, so this was really nice) and rather than just popping open the door, took the time to look around and miraculously found and fished my keys out of the storm drain. Saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of wasted time. Wonderful to have someone actually solve the problem rather than doing the easier thing and leaving me with a big headache. Thank you so much!

$75 for a jump. Was there in 30 minutes. Faster and better than AAA. Very kind and professional.
Called Redline after another company ghosted me and they were here in less than an hour. The driver was very careful with my car and made sure the chain wasn't rubbing the underside of the front lip, going as far as to take the chain off to readjust after he saw it might. I was truly impressed. They also charged me less than the original company. I will not hesitate to contact Redline if I need another tow.

2 hours away from home got a flat tire on a AMG 63 Mercedes, Mercedes roadside is a joke and useless ! I decided to contact a local company with a flatbed to haul this high line car back home. The service was excellent, the driver was extremely responsive and was very careful with loading the car. The experience of being stuck was not pleasant but this company could not have been more attentive and professional.

Dispatch was very polite but when I needed my car towed they gave me the run-around for a full day. My car wasn't picked up until 25 hours after my initial call when they said it would be about 2 hours and one of their "contracted" tow guys tried to raise the price on me by $100 from the quoted rate. They expressed remorse about the poor job they did but still has no problem charging $175 for a 7.5 mile tow
Called around for a few different companies for a tow maybe a half mile away. Was getting a lot of very high quotes. I called and it was a great price. He was also in the area already. From the time I called until the time it was dropped off at the mechanic was maybe 30 minutes. Great service. Will call again. And would recommend.

Jordan was a very bad tow truck driver. He gave attitude when I asked questions. Stuck up rich kid. They made me pay 600$ for a 40 mile tow. I didn't have it. They kept my brothers car til he could pay. I'll never use this again. Nor anyone I know. The owner isnt a great person

Eric and Todd were absolutely phenomenal to work with and very professional! After having my car break down, I called around to a few tow services. One being a well known agency in the area, they wanted $250 just to tow it 5 miles. Ferra’s came in substantially less. The drivers were professional and the service was quick. We barely waited 30 minutes. I would trust them to tow my stuff anytime and while I hope to not need them, I know I’ll be calling again if I do.
I cannot recommend this place enough!! I was stranded driving through PA a few weeks ago and the people at Ferra's were so wonderful. The tow service was super quick, and their services were incredibly reasonably priced. They got my car back to me as soon as possible since I was from out of town, and the whole time they took care of me! Seriously, this crew saved the day when I broke down. They made sure I had a place to stay and literally picked me up and brought me to the shop. I could not have had a better experience. Thank you so, so much guys. I was alone and stressed, and you didn't take advantage of a stressed out young woman away from home (which could have easily happened). Shout out to Ricky (I believe) for being a great tow driver and nice person! You guys are seriously the best. Service above and beyond what's expected. Thank you again!!
Horrible customer service. I was told my truck was about to be done and I showed up 2 days prior to grab some things and it was 2 tone painted due to them not blending the paint. They told me that the insurance doesn’t cover that and they weren’t doing it. (It said right on the insurance paper for them to blend it) They left a dent on the pillar as well which all the panels were on at this point. My insurance agent had to go down and get them to do the job they were supposed to do. Horrible customer service with a very rude staff. Only getting 2 stars instead of 1 because after they got in trouble with the insurance they finally did what they were supposed to do and did a great job. Shouldn’t have to babysit a company that’s been in business this long. They just wanted to collect free insurance money.
Helped a lot with time, came in below the rough estimate given, and in my case he was able to do the repair by himself and lifted the entire dry van door, which most repairers would get two extra people and bill you for it.
Our van broke down on the turnpike. Mac was awesome. Got the van right on the tow truck and had me back home in no time and the van off the truck and in the driveway. They were great.

I called Allegheny recovery and cargo hauling for a lockout. The owner Rocco showed up within 30 minutes. He unlocked my car and retrieved my keys in less than a minute. The last time that happened, I called AAA it took them 2 hours to get there and the guy took another half hour trying to get in my car. Also AAA left scratch marks all over the door… I’m glad I called Allegheny recovery cargo and I will definitely call them in the future for any of my towing needs. Also, I have an old broke down car. Rocco told me he would come pick it up tomorrow, Bring it to the junkyard and split the money with me. I like this guy!!!

Collision King was the only company to answer a call for a tow from AAA. Darwin was kind and professional. He picked up and delivered my car without knowing me or having any assurance of payment. He was responsive and timely and communicated with me throughout the process that AAA made a mess of. I have not used his repair services yet but plan to as he was an excellent resource when I really needed it. From my experience you can trust Collision King to be honest and fair.

I haven't had any towing experience but this is the place we trust to get our car fixed. They save us money each time (even when they don't know they're doing it.) My friend was given a $800 estimate from another place, so I told him to get one at Critchlow's too. He didn't tell them about the problem or the previous estimate. They pointed out the same problem and gave an estimate of a little over $400. That experience solidified my trust. If I ever lose it, I will update this review.
I took my car in to have a problem diagnosed and fixed (the battery was dying every night) I had just replaced the battery that week and all they could tell me was to get another new batter, which I did. But the problem still happened (now on my third battery). After having my car for the entire day they weren't able to diagnose or fix the car, which would be fine if they didn't charge me for NOT FIXING MY PROBLEM. I took my car to a different shop and they we appalled to think that someone would still charge you after they fixed nothing. DO NOT take your car here unless you want to pay them for not fixing the problem. The only reason they got 2 stars and not 1 is because my wife said they were "friendly" (while charging us for not fixing the car).
I had to call AAA because I not only had a flat tire but my car was also over heating and leaking antifreeze. I was so upset because I was coming from my 1st job and on my way to my second one when this happened. When my driver Damian arrived he was the absolute sweetest about the whole situation, very light hearted and optimistic. He turned the entire experience around for me and not only that but he made my day. He made sure I got to my next destination safely and I couldn't of appreciated that more. I had such a good experience with him and this company, thanks a million.

Absolute worst service. I contacted them at 4:16, was told a tow would be en route within the hour. Called back at 6:05, was told a truck was having some trouble, a tow would be there within an hour. At 8:30, he said he would find out where his driver was. He then hung up on me when I called back at 9:05 and ignored my next call back. Calling back from a new number at 9:22 he said he just spoke to me and told me the driver was coming, which was not true.
My experience with Anthony’s Towing and Collision was very positive. While driving in the Squirrel Hill tunnel, my Chevy Avalanche would no longer accelerate but the RPMs were revving up. I managed to keep the vehicle running just long enough to get out of the tunnel and onto the shoulder before it stopped completely. I was off on the shoulder but not safe as vehicles were going by at 60-70mph. I called AAA. I was told I had an hour wait. An hour later, AAA calls and tells me, no, previous tow would not be coming and they have another company, but now I have to wait an additional 4 hours! AAA told me if I could find another tow company sooner, they would reimburse me the tow fee. There was no way I was sitting on the side of a major interstate until after midnight for a tow. So, my first call was to Anthony’s Towing and Collision. Anthony answered the phone right away and told me they could help, he just had to switch out their vehicle to a flatbed to handle my Avalanche. Anthony called to tell me he was on his way. Called again 10 minutes away. Within an hour, my vehicle was being loaded up onto a flatbed. Anthony took a look under the vehicle and told me the transmission line blew and the transmission fluid had emptied out. He didn’t have to investigate the cause but the information was valuable as I had something to tell my mechanic. He even game me a ride home!! Anthony towed the vehicle to my mechanic in Greensburg and called me later to let me know the truck had been dropped off. The entire experience was very positive and I found Anthony to be very nice and professional. I would not hesitate to call him again. Thanks!!
My car started overheating tonight, (on a late, dark, rainy Sunday evening). I had to pull over on the side of the road in West Mifflin, PA. There weren’t any businesses/homes around me. Many other places were closed/unavailable. I called Pittsburgh Towing Services, and they arrived and had my car towed within 30-40 minutes. The workers were very friendly, professional, and efficient. My car was towed 10-minutes away from my location to a shop. The driver (was given permission from his boss to) let me ride with him to the shop. I’m very grateful for them because I wasn’t left alone in the dark and rain. :) I 100% recommend this business and plan to use them again in the future.
Pittsburgh Towing is awesome! I waited 4 hours for AAA to help me before they finally said no one was coming at 12am. 30 min after I contacted them and he was there - amazing speed. He found the issue with my vehicle almost immediately. I have a newer car and the parking break kept engaging when attempting to tow me. Instead of risking damage to my vehicle, he towed me to a safer location, went to his garage a bit down the road to get what he needed to patch my coolant line right there on the side of the road. He then told me to call him if anything went wrong and he would bring his flatbed up to tow me the rest of the way. He was extremely kind and really helped me in a tough situation. Above and beyond customer service. I will be calling them from now on if I’m ever broken down in Pittsburgh and you should too! Thank you!

Best experience you can have if you need your car towed. Broke down on a Sunday and called multiple tow companies, and either they couldn't come or wanted me to wait. Called Windhurst, and they were so polite and actually seemed to care. They came right out, and although breaking down was no fun, they made the experience a little easier. Highly recommend, and price was fair
Worst
I kid you not, this is the most passionate 5 star review I have/will ever leave. Last week, on what was already one of the worst day of my life after dealing with the loss of a close friend, a cement truck swerved into my car on ohio river boulevard. It was terrifying, after spinning across multiple lanes of traffic and into a hillside, I was lucky to be okay but shaking head to toe so hard that I could barely stand. Clearly someone, perhaps a friend, was looking out for me in heaven because only a few cars behind me was Patrick from Windhurst towing in his truck. He helped reroute traffic, called tbe authorities, and when I couldn't get cell service, he let me use his phone to call my people and insurance. This man stayed by my side through the duration of the process from reassuring me immediately after impact to bringing in backup support to dislodge my car from the hillside to towing it to my insurance's approved shop and driving me home. His colleagues and sister were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I cannot believe my luck to have these folks in the right place at the right time, but let me tell you this: every parent in western PGH needs to put a card for Windhurst in their kids glove box with their insurance card. These people are in the business for helping people first and foremost and it shows. Please consider liking this review to help me continue paying back and paying forward the good grand Patrick and his team gifted me. I am truly so grateful

I had some car trouble and Dave's Towing showed up where I was in less then 15 minutes to get me to a service station. They were prompt, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. A highlight on an otherwise very lousy day.
Great experience they came right out and gave great price. Even waited with me at garage where it was towed until my ride came because it was late at night. Highly recommend
No Show
I’m 22 and this was the first time I had car trouble. I was a wreck. This was the only company that answered me at 11pm at night. I was stranded on the side of the road because my tire fell off and they answered the phone quickly and were there within a half an hour. They were extremely helpful, got me off the side of the road and towed to where I needed to go. They even helped me and showed me where to drop off my keys at the Honda dealership. They dropped me off at the nearest gas station like (as requested) so my friends could drive me home. Have their number saved in case I ever have trouble again. 10/10 recommend. Thanks SO much.

Sean was a life saver after sitting on the side of the road waiting for tow services I went on Google looking for help out of all the tow services I contacted B-Line Towing answered said 25-30 minutes instead of 90 minutes then Three hours no not Sean when he said 25-30 minutes he was there in 22 minutes I want to thank you sir and I will be passing your information to my company and corporate office any of our teams that work in pa or come to pa if they need anything we will be directing them your way if I could I'd give you more stars please feel free to reach out to our office as well as we will be passing your information on to pickupnow for our pa teams if they need help to make arrangements with your company thank you for being amazing
My car was towed last night. They didn’t leave my keys in the drop box so my vehicle sat unserviced all day. They also stole antidepressants out of my glove compartment that they probably thought was something else. I do not recommend !
Sean showed up in prompt timing. I was in need of gas I used my insurance roadside assistance and B-line towing company showed on time and very professional. I recommend this business as I’m a business owner myself! You guys rock!!!!!!
I would have given 0 stars if I could have. Yesterday I ended up getting a flat tire, which obviously is pretty inconvenient. I have car shield and they said this towing service was in network which I was OK with because the reviews made it seem like I would’ve been taken care of, if only that were the case! The wait time was 1hour and 30 minutes which I was fine with that since I knew I wasn’t the only one dealing with an inconvenience. It got to 1 hour 45 mins and I still hadn’t heard anything. At this point I’ve called a bunch and so did car shield. We would have left messages as instructed by the voicemail if the mailbox had not been full 🙄 it got to the 2 and half mark and I simply canceled the service because the tire place I needed the car towed too was closed at this point. I had to put on the donut and wait the next day. My point is this company should use more organization and make sure people aren’t waiting without any update on the service requested! I’d like to make it well known that the owner of the company goes and post lies under each negative review just to make it look better even though it’s never true what their side of the story says
Never came after waiting 6 hours.

The tow truck driver did a terrific job with pulling a nonrunning, long, antique car onto the flatbed without any scrapes of the undercarriage or front edges. He made use of wood pieces to ease the car up to achieve tire contact with the truck bed. I appreciated the special care he took with my 1964 Ford Custom. Thank you, Culgan Towing!
Although they towed my car for 225 on Friday evening and are not open on weekends but still charged me $60 per day😒, Brandon was a a great employee and made everything as simple and easy as possible. Others were not so helpful or respectful. Thank you Brandon
Culgan Towing was utilized by the Forest Hills Police and the State Police to tow my sister in laws car. They kept it inside the building for safety sake as her purse was inside the vehicle. Once the car could be released to the family our ( my husband and I) found the owner to be very kind, thorough, and extremely sensitive to our situation. There ARE good people out there…. This business confirms that to myself and this family.
The most terrible business i've ever dealt with. Terrible customer service with no office to even sit in I was trying to ask for help and everyone was acting like robots... the employees tell you one thing and the boss of the place tells you something different so you dont know whos really the owner... i was charged an extra 100 on my bill when i arrived lol they did everything to try to keep my car... When i received my vehicle my back bumper was hanging off of the vehicle I have the receipt of the damage that was reported on the vehicle before it was towed but i wont go there because i wont get anything back anyway from these guys by the looks of it... luckily it wasnt a big deal and i was able to just slap it back on its like they were tampering or hit another car with my vehicle... so be careful and take pictures before they send it to this specific tow lot... not to mention they towed my vehicle a day late and told me i would get some money refunded due to the late tow... they didnt give me the money...
They can be very rude and hard to deal with. They're not customer friendly for the most part. They're very expensive and very rigid with their rules. I understand that you must have rules and you have to go by them but the delivery of the message is very important when you're dealing with the public. PS... They will call the police on you if you get too mouthy with them and then they will lie when the police get there. I witnessed it myself. So basically, watch your mouth and do whatever they tell you to do and try not to talk back too much. 🤷🏾 And I did wonder why they always had the cars and the police said that they are contracted by that borough so they can get all the calls to come and get your vehicle. I hope you never have to use your services, but if you do good luck everyone. #MoneiDaGoddess

For some reason I always come home to find someone parked in my assigned parking spot that I pay monthly for and there are few things more annoying to me than that. Luckily, Howard's is great and professional. The truck showed up in 10 minutes and I was able to park in my spot within 15 minutes. In one situation, the person who's car was being towed was very aggressive and hostile and the tow truck driver basically looked out for me and handled the situation.
I had to get my car towed because my back left wheel lost two lugnuts and Fred tried to help me fix it before we even got on the road. I then explained to him that I just moved to Pittsburgh recently and didn't really know where to take my car to get fixed so he called 3 different friends he knew who are Auto-Mechanics to help me. He was so helpful and friendly and joked with us the whole way which made it a lot of fun. I never thought having my car towed would be such a good experience. He found a garage close to my house too which was a plus. If I ever need a tow again, I am definitely calling Howard's and I hope I get Fred. Thank you for helping this new city girl out!
Howard’s towed my Tesla with electrical problems. They provided excellent service and communication. They needed specialized tools and came prepared. Highly recommended towing company.
Terrible Customer Service and Unfair Charges My car was towed on Saturday night, and when I located it, I tried calling Howard's Towing repeatedly on Sunday, Monday (Memorial Day). Despite multiple attempts, no one answered the phone. Tuesday I tried them in the morning on that day also they have not answered my calls, then I tried calling 911 and got a different towing company number that is Travis Towing and I called them on tuesday they answered the call and said we don't have your vehicle. I then drove to their address Howard's Towing, waited for nearly 40 minutes before an employee finally showed up. He was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He refused to listen to anything I tried to explain about my attempts to contact them and got charged for both Sunday and Monday, even though I couldn't reach them to retrieve my car. His behavior was completely unacceptable – harsh, uncooperative, and clearly lacking any understanding of how to handle customers. This company demonstrates a shocking disregard for their customers and operates with incredibly very poor service. Avoid if possible.
I can't speak highly enough of Howard's Towing. We had an accident where I damaged one of my front tires in very icy conditions. Found out we were going to have a 5 hour wait for towing when I called it in through my insurance company. Called Howard's and he was there with in 20 minutes. Nicest man ever! He's personable and will tell you like it is. It's refreshing knowing that he runs an honest business and will definitely be using him for future needs. Be sure to call Howard's if you want quality service!
